Job description

An exciting opportunity to join our Senior Management Team.

We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our Senior Management. S/he will be responsible for the management of short-term and long-term projects, liaison with funders and stakeholders, and support the chief executive to secure funding for new and existing workstreams. The post holder will line manage all project staff.

To succeed in your role, you will be flexible and able to lead your team through periods of challenge and change. A good understanding of how digital technology can aid service delivery would be a distinct advantage.

Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. We give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem. We help with everything from money issues to problems at work, housing to consumer rights.

Up until the end of March, our advice services were delivered by phone and in person from the Redbridge Central Library in Ilford. Under lockdown, and to maintain a Covid-safe environment for our clients, staff and volunteers, we are all working remotely, providing advice via phone, email and webchat. Key to our work are time limited projects that support our general advice services. Funding for these projects is provided by a range of funders, including central and local government, and grant making trusts and foundations. They all need timely information, as well as an assurance that our projects deliver agreed outcomes and targets.
