dasl have provided an advocacy service for Lambeth Council for 12 years and since 2020 we have played a key role in the Lambeth Advocacy Hub, a single point of access for all statutory independent advocacy services for Lambeth residents aged 16 and over. We manage referrals and enquiries and provide independent Care Act advocacy and a range of non-statutory advocacy.
We provide a high quality service - we hold the Advocacy Quality Performance Mark. You will hold, or be working towards, a qualification such as the Certificate/Diploma in Independent Advocacy (Level 3), or be able to show the necessary skills and relevant experience in a formal or informal advocacy role.

Are you an experienced adviser who has a strong background in the delivery of high-quality advice and a good working knowledge of welfare benefits?
We are looking for an enthusiastic caseworker to join the team, to provide the following:
- You will undertake casework, assisting clients to access their entitlement to welfare benefits and other sources of financial help, up to and including tribunal representation.
- Advice will be delivered virtually according to the service user’s needs and preferences. This will include phone, secure email or secure video calls.
- Help to design welfare benefit information leaflets and upskill referrers, preparing and providing training on our referral processes.
- Working independently and building relationships with third sector colleagues will be important, as will the ability to achieve targets, and support the work of volunteers.

About the role
We are currently seeking a Welfare Caseworker, with experience within a social care, advocacy or social welfare setting, to support our Charity wide Welfare Services.
You will be joining our team to provide welfare advice, information and support services to the Fire & Rescue Community. Working within a national team you will undertake assessments of need that assist recovery and improve quality of life for members of the Fire and Resource Services Community. This role is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
This role may involve some travel which may require the occasional night away from home.
About you
You will need experience of undertaking holistic and recovery focused assessments, and planning person-centred support, as this role works collaboratively within a multi professional team.
To be successful in the role , you will
- have experience working in adult social care, social welfare, advocacy or information and advice settings.
- hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or Advice and Guidance (or equivalent)
- have a working knowledge of the welfare benefits system and statutory provision
- have an understanding of issues affecting individuals with a broad range of psychosocial, physical and mental health concerns
- have experience of case management systems (or customer relationship management systems) and managing complex case loads
- familiar with Microsoft Office applications

About You:
To be a Domestic Abuse Caseworker you will:
Have a thorough understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic violence and its impact on women, children, families and communities. Experienced of supporting women who have experienced domestic violence, forced marriage or ‘honour’-based violence. Experience of crisis management and successfully managing a busy and complex caseload and experience of risk and needs assessment and safety and support planning, particularly with clients with complex/multiple needs.

About the role:
This role is based at our Gloucester office and will require regular travel within the Gloucestershire area. Hence, holding a driving licence is essential.
As a caseworker, you will:
- Effectively manage a caseload of self-referrals or referred service users, delivering excellent services which support the commissioners and their service goals to victims.

About this role
The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker will undertake a range of activities in support of Reprieve’s work on cases of individuals on death row or at risk of the death penalty across the MENA region, including casework and investigations into individual cases and the broader death penalty landscape, support to Reprieve clients, and support to partner organisations and lawyers in the MENA region and beyond.
The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker is an integral member of the MENA Team, and will work closely with the Media, Campaigns and Digital, and UK and US Policy teams, and the Directors and Deputy Directors.
Location and salary
This role is a full-time, permanent contract based in our London office. The annual salary is £40,964 full-time per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work a minimum of 40% per week from the London office, and the rest from home. Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office.

About the role:
This role is home-based with regular travel throughout Wiltshire and Swindon. As this role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement.

As a Debt Caseworker, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive debt advice to our clients. You will work diligently to ensure that our clients receive the support they need to navigate through their financial difficulties, whilst adhering to quality standards and achieving set targets.
You will help cleints and their families manage their financies and debts more efficantly enabling them to alevate some of the stress and move forward with their lives, hopefully improving both mental and physical wellbeing. You will look to not onlt resolve any crisis the cleint is going through but to also give them tools, confidence and ability to prevent further issues in the future, reducing the need for them to use service such as the local foodbank in the future.
Position: Debt Caseworker
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid at least 3 days in the office in Peterborough)

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Children and Young People’s Solicitor and Senior Caseworker at Asylum Aid, you will primarily work with unaccompanied asylum-seeking child (UASC) and young people (under 25), providing end to end representation on their asylum, human rights and trafficking claims. You may also undertake age dispute challenges and other judicial review work on behalf of your clients. You will combine this work, which will account for approximately 70% of your time, with conducting other immigration matters, including adult asylum claims, family reunion applications and statelessness applications. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider work of the Asylum Aid team, delivering high quality legal services on the full range of protection and trafficking issues that affect migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. You will conduct asylum casework under legal aid funding, with a specialist focus on representing unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young people, and contribute to policy and strategic legal work to promote the rights of children and young people in the asylum system.
You will be a qualified solicitor or Immigration caseworker with IAAS Level 2/Senior Caseworker accreditation and have significant experience in publicly funded immigration work under a Legal Aid Agency Contract. You should have, or be able to obtain, Level 2 Children Safeguarding.
As is the nature of this sector, the role will be exposed to a high volume of traumatic and distressing material and, whilst they will be supported by the Asylum Aid Director, supervisors and the surrounding team, they should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of good self-care principles in an intense work environment.

Purpose of Role
To provide an effective and high-quality service directly supporting individuals affected by sexual violence ensuring service delivery and performance standards are maintained at all times. Specialist Caseworkers will be supported by a professional management team providing training, procedures, operational, Reflective Practice and 1:1 supervision.
Main Responsibilities/Activities
1. For all survivors accessing the service
· Provide direct emotional and practical support, promote the building of resilience to enable survivors to move forward from the trauma.
· Ensure that service users feel safe, supported, heard, and believed.
· Ensure timely contact with new referrals and complete an assessment of emotional and practical needs.
· Support and develop the understanding of the impacts of trauma.
· Provide information and resources to normalise responses to trauma and offer reassurance.

2. Quality Assurance

About the role:
This role is based in our office at Whitecross Studio's, 50 Banner Street, London, with flexibility of hybrid working. The role requires travelling to other VS offices across London.
As a Senior Children and Young Persons Caseworker, you will be required to:
- Conduct risk assessment to ensure each CYP receives a tailored support that meets their needs, including safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support
- Provide one to one support to children & young people who are a victim or witness to a crime & advocate on their behalf

As our Children and Families Caseworker, you will support individuals who are affected by domestic violence, C.S.E, Mental health, grooming and exploitation, and gang and serious youth violence, all of which will include working with both victims and perpetrators. About this key role
As our Beyond the Gate Caseworker, you will provide a community-based service that engages, motivates and facilitates those on license to make progress, through a range of one-to-one sessions, group activities, training and supportive measures. You will work with your caseload of clients to produce individual action plans that support them to overcome social inclusion barriers, including housing, substance misuse, relationships, training, employment, finance debt and benefit, and deliver a range of planned custody and community assessments and interventions that keep clients engaged, motivated, and making progress.
