Job description

The role

In this role you will be responsible for the development of policy in line with our strategic aims to drive and influence change to improve the lives of people with Crohn’s and Colitis. You will lead the development and delivery of effective policy and advocacy across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to ensure a strong voice for people affected by the conditions.

As well as drive new initiatives to develop and deliver tactical plans for the policy team which meet our strategic objectives, you will be a member of the joint leadership team that contributes to the leadership, planning and delivery of cross-team projects within the Charity.

About you

You will be a seasoned campaigner who has delivered effective public facing campaigns with a thorough understanding of how campaigns and policy work together to deliver demonstrable impact, ideally in healthcare. This role will interact with leaders in the NHS and elsewhere and you will need to be a credible presence speaking to our agenda.

The future

The charity is at a really exciting point. We are in excellent financial health and moving to a new strategy which will give you the chance to put a personal stamp on the actions we are taking to improve the quality of life for people with Crohn’s and Colitis.

If this sounds like you then go ahead and apply.... we look forward to hearing from you.
