This is an exciting role with an opportunity to lead the charity into the 150th Year of delivery and with a new strategy to address need. It will involve working with the leadership team and all departments but also the board and their support committees, the ambassadors, and presidents as well as the wonderful team of volunteers across England and Wales.

Purpose of Post
The Fundraising Officer will be a key member of our ambitious and friendly Income Generation team helping to support the team across a number of national partnership income streams.
The role will have responsibility for responding to enquiries via post, email and telephone, and ensuring income and general information is captured accurately on Donorfy (CRM system).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a mixed pipeline of national partners and prospects including researching, making approaches, applications, and stewardship activities.
- Coordinate and support fundraising campaigns and events for partners.
- Responsible for welcoming, assisting and responding to enquiries AAUK receives over telephone, email, and post.
- Responsible for thanking national supporters, adapting, and personalising templates as needed to deliver high quality thank you letters in a timely manner.
- Enter and maintain accurate records on our fundraising database, Donorfy including financial information and to proactively identify how to improve processes.
- Provide general administrative support across the team as required.

As an Operations Officer, you will support the operational delivery and development of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) through managing a portfolio of Licensed Organisations (LOs). These LOs are mostly schools but we also work with other organisations such as colleges, local authorities, and community groups.
The role will be field-based, and you will be expected to visit organisations within your portfolio regularly. When not attending meetings, employees work from home where you will need to have an appropriate home office set up and live within, or close to, the portfolio area of Swindon and Southern parts of Gloucestershire. Since 2013, Arts Emergency has been providing 16-25 year olds in London, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond with a trained mentor working in their field of interest.
