As the Senior Individual Giving Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of this programme. You will work closely with the Individual Giving & Legacies Manager, leading on a variety of campaigns across Individual Giving. Delivering and developing campaigns and appeals across cash, regular giving, payroll giving and legacies, using channels such as digital, direct mail, DRTV and direct dialogue.
Key responsibilities
- With the Individual Giving & Legacies Manager, develop the IG marketing plan, making recommendations to meet strategic goal.
- Deliver the activity plan considering learnings and recommendations, in line with the wider Income and Engagement Strategy.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to budget across a variety of channels, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Develop creatives for campaigns with internal and agency support to increase response rates and growing income.
- Ensure a test and learn approach to build solid foundations on which to grow the programme.
- Regularly monitor the performance of campaigns and activities and report weekly against agreed KPIs.
To be successful in this Senior Individual Giving Offer role, you will have gained the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Working within fundraising in a similar Direct Marketing role, delivering and developing fundraising campaigns and activations in Individual Giving.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. You will develop and deliver excellent stewardship programmes that drive retention by deepening audience understanding of the challenges that people affected by cleft face and the impact that their donations make. The role: Fundraising Manager
We are seeking a Fundraising Manager with a passion for our mission, who will build positive relationships to secure significant income, working together to harness the power of adventure to create lasting change and transform communities for all.
This is a new role, leading our small but growing Fundraising Team, and having a real input into our plans and strategies for the future. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the successful candidate will oversee all fundraising income generation activity and lead on our Major Donor Giving Programme. A typical week could involve meeting with prospective donors, developing a case for support for a new stream of work, supporting team members to develop their own fundraising skills, and working with other departments to raise awareness of Bendrigg’s work.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned fundraiser to join and lead a forward-thinking and inclusive team and develop Bendrigg’s fundraising to support our new Strategic Plan. This opportunity is open to those wishing to work remotely (there would be an expectation to attend the office for a minimum of 2 weeks during the induction process, and thereafter at least 3 days per month throughout the year), looking for a hybrid working pattern or wanting to be fully office-based. The role is full time, however part-time on a minimum of 0.8FTE would be considered for the ideal candidate.

Main purpose of the role

Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people who have had stoma surgery (ostomates) and to their friends, families and carers. About the role:
As the Fundraising Executive you will work to grow income through developing our community engagement, attracting, building and managing relationships with a range of supporters (individual donors and fundraisers, community groups, local businesses, volunteers etc).
