About the role

Rose Voucher Project Officer, Southwark Rose Vouchers for Fruit and Veg Project
The Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project in Southwark has been successfully supporting families with young children to ensure fruit and vegetables are a part of their everyday diet since 2018. As we enter the seventh year of the project, we are now looking for a new member of staff to join the 1st Place Rose Voucher Project team and support our work in delivering the project, while measuring its wider impact on families. Job Summary
As Rose Voucher Project Officer, you will be working alongside the Southwark Rose Voucher Project Lead to forward the development of the Rose Voucher Project in Southwark. Your key areas of responsibility will be registering new families onto the Rose Voucher Project, overseeing the two Rose Voucher distribution sessions which take place at both our centres, supported by our dedicated Rose Voucher volunteers, and coordinating and supporting the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Project. You will also provide support to our network of other Rose Voucher distribution centres in Southwark to ensure they are working in a coordinated way and according to agreed processes.
You will be a motivated individual, with excellent written and communication skills, and proven experience of working in a community setting where service users are valued, listened to and respected. Previous experience working with and signposting families is essential to ensure that our Rose Voucher families are aware of the many services and activities available to support and increase their health and wellbeing. As Project Support Officer you will support the Northern Area Manager and Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training (such as DBS, references, Food Safety Level 2, First Aid), giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our Yorkshire & The Humber projects to aid development and growth within the region.
Our projects are run by volunteers and supported by Regional Managers, through recruitment and training of volunteers. The role will require attendance at our Community Meals projects in Leeds, Sheffield, Hull and Bradford, with occasional evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.

Key Duties:

Senior Youth Participation Officer
Fitzrovia Youth in Action is looking for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic person for our Senior Youth Participation Officer role. If you feel like this is you, we would love to hear from you!
The post holder will coordinate and develop our new young people drop-in programme and additional youth action programmes, aimed at engaging local young people into the work of FYA. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of the drop-in sessions, as well as deliver some youth led social action programmes. The role will include recruiting young people, engaging them in co-producing fun and creative activities and workshops which will take place at the drop-ins, as well as supporting them in planning and delivering the social action programmes.
Typically, sessions will occur Sundays (TBC) and young people from the ages 8 to 18 will attend. We are also planning to start a second drop-in session from September, which is likely to run on a Friday evening.
The post holder will support young people to plan some social action programmes directly, as well as support young people into other youth-led community action programmes at FYA.
Examples of projects include youth-led football tournaments, street parties and festivals and peer education activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for FYA as we are elated to have our first drop-in session at our Warren Centre, as we want to reach as many local young people as possible and provide opportunities of social action and support.

The role will help coordinate and manage collaboration across the entire organisation and between teams at UK100. The Operations Officer will manage the office space, plan team events, support staff onboarding and recruitment, and drive HR and internal policies and procedures such as DEI, Ways of Working with various systems, IT security and GDPR. They will drive the development and delivery of UK100’s operations, supporting the Chief Operating Officer, and progressing the improvement of UK100's internal systems and processes. It will involve developing UK100’s CRM system and supporting team members' use of the CRM and the management and administration of our Finance and budget systems.

Key responsibilities:

Maintaining UK100’s Customer Relationship Management system, including making updates that change front end form and function, coordinating with the service provider for training and updates and supporting UK100 staff in using the CRM.

HR processes including supporting recruitment, staff onboarding, and off-boarding. Maintaining a HR Calendar and staff policies, and monitoring and reporting across various HR areas.

Working with the finance team to track all of UK100 payments and expenses. Including maintenance and oversight of UK100 payments and support with UK100 grant budget tracking. Supporting the annual Financial Audit where necessary.

Managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers, ensuring efficient payments and working with the bookkeeper on invoicing. Reviewing overhead contracts ensuring best value for money.

Providing support for UK100’s Business Supporter Network including drafting contracts, updating BSN opportunities in the CRM and taking minutes from BSN meetings.

Support UK100’s management of IT systems including for example Drive folder management, group email accounts, administration of G-Suite, Zoom and Monday and security settings and good practice.

Developing and improving UK100 policy and procedure documents and owning and maintaining key organisational documents. Developing working processes with the team, for example on internal communications and ways of working.

Office management and coordination with our workspace provider. Managing UK100 equipment and the UK100 fixed asset register.

We are a small team. Ad hoc duties will thus arise, and every team member is expected to support the team efforts.

OUTpatients is seeking an experienced Volunteering Development Lead for the Greater London area who can develop an engaged volunteer base to support the charity and its mission.
We are a small charity and this role is new in our organisation. This means that we encourage applicants who have prior experience working in small, developing teams and are able to balance taking initiative with close collaboration with other staff members.
We are looking for a person who can develop and recruit people into a volunteering database and work with these volunteers to support us at events, to deliver activities with the charity, plan fundraisers, and expand our presence within the LGBTIQ+ the community.
