About LifeSkills
The LifeSkills programme will offer groups of families the chance to come together to a trusted venue such as a children’s centre or community setting. As well as offering opportunities for families to spend quality time together and have access to healthy food, these sessions will offer LifeSkills workshops for parents and carers to build their confidence, social networks, financial and employability skills. Examples include but are not limited to overcoming setbacks, managing debt, boosting confidence to return to work, CV writing, interview skills. The aims of the LifeSkills programme are to support participants to increase their confidence and 21st century skills, move closer to training/volunteering/employment, improve their social networks, and grow their confidence to provide low cost and nutritious meals.
The role involves delivering LifeSkills sessions to groups of families in the Greater Manchester area. The postholder will also be the main point of contact for delivery partners hosting programmes (e.g. small charities, schools) and staff and volunteers delivering sessions, and be expected to respond promptly to a wide range of queries and requests for support. Examples might include, for instance, devising LifeSkills programmes for different cohorts, presenting to potential partners, devising risk assessments, recording data, and visiting and providing guidance and support for staff and volunteers delivering sessions in venues across the country.

In this pivotal role of Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the management and successful delivery of all hard and soft facilities services across the Lambeth Palace estate.
- Ensure the Lambeth Palace estate is managed to the highest possible standard, ensuring all areas are well presented, safe, secure and compliant for all visitors, residents and staff alike.
- Review and regularly ensure all agreed security measures are in place and are communicated accordingly.

- Liaise regularly with contractors, making sure disruption to the Archbishop's family, other residents, staff and Hospitality is minimised and work is completed as quickly as possible.
- Ensure effective communication with the Archbishop's family, other residents, staff, Garden and Hospitality Teams on all work affecting the estate.
- Monitor and report on the Palace's environmental impact and initiating methods to improve sustainability.
- Assist the Head of Facilities & Steward in financial/budgetary management, including verifying and arranging payment of contractors' invoices and reporting on the annual budget.
- Where authority has been delegated, progress the work of the Head of Facilities & Steward in their absence and within agreed parameters, including out of hours working when required.
- Hold NEBOSH General Certificate.
- IWFM qualification or equivalent experience.

Purpose of Post To support users of services through an education, training, and employability programme integrated with SCT’s wider services and enterprise offer, as well as partner opportunities in the wider community. Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity embedded in the local community, providing practical support and training to people affected by homelessness and addictions so they can rebuild their lives. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Male Accommodation Advocate working in our safe- houses in Liverpool. In this role you’ll casework male service users living within our Safe-house. This role includes providing clients with emotional and practical support; advocating on their behalf, communicating with other organisations including but not limited to health professionals, legal representation and the Home office.
