Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our individual donors, providing outstanding donor care and helping to ensure they have the best possible experience with the Charity. You will work as part of a friendly, supportive team who are dedicated to supporting the work of Nottingham’s hospitals.

You will have strong administration and database skills, and the ability to work on a range of fundraising activities around donor acquisition and retention, helping to raise vital funds for Nottingham’s Hospitals. Online Fundraising Assistant

Position Objective:

To contribute to the execution of international PETA entities’ online fundraising programmes by assisting in the production of online fundraising campaigns, social media campaigns, and data management

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist with PETA entities’ online fundraising campaigns, including data selection and quality checking, e-mail scheduling, donation tracking, and reporting
• Assist with PETA entities’ social media fundraising campaigns, including ad monitoring, comment section moderating, rejection responses, and reporting
• Assist with the statistical analysis of online fundraising campaigns
• Review online donation transaction data and ensure it is entered into the relevant databases in a timely manner

Major Gifts Manager, International Fundraising

Position Objective:

To solicit major gifts (£5,000 and above) to support PETA’s international programmes and campaigns.

To build and advance relationships with PETA entities’ major donors and prospects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop a strategy for international for major gifts fundraising
• Manage and maintain a portfolio major gift donors and prospects, across PETA international entities
• Effectively steward donors and prospects
• Develop personal engagement plans for donors, using knowledge and insights to plan appropriate communications
• Solicit major financial contributions from targeted donors
• Manage a pipeline of prospects, creating engaging opportunities for donors to increase their giving to a higher level
• Acknowledge, thank and recognise donors appropriate to their level of support, and ensure restricted gifts are appropriately allocated

Broxtowe Community Projects (BCP) is a small charity (registered number 1195969) based in Beeston, Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting year for BCP in terms of solidifying our growth and development, and this is where you come in! We are looking for an operations manager to help oversee our existing projects as well as those in development, along with ensuring smooth day-to-day operations remain smooth. Our ops manager will support our staff, admin, and volunteer team leaders to ensure they feel supported and empowered in their roles, The role will also undertake and ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of our funded projects so that we can maintain positive relationships with our current funders and confidently seek relationships with new funders.

Overall purpose of the post:
To manage the day-to-day running of this growing charity in Broxtowe and ensure its continued development, working proactively with the trustees to provide day-to-day operational coordination and implement agreed development initiatives.

To coordinate current projects, with a particular focus on the foodbank, and to establish additional services in accordance with community needs.

Principal duties:

• To promote the aims, objectives and values of BCP, primarily the development of a sustainable community.

About the team

Our Finance Department works as a team of experts to safeguard resources and support decision making across Shelter. We strive to ensure Shelter is financially sustainable in order to achieve our vision of a home for everyone. This particular role sits within the Financial Planning and Analysis team. We support the charity through financial reporting, analysis, and expert advice, and enable collaboration to support managers in making effective business decisions.

About the role

Joining a finance team that collaborates and communicates effectively to help us deliver our mission and vision, making vital business decisions that are driven by expert knowledge and financial acumen will be key to your success here. As part of the role, you’ll engage regularly with our Assistant Directors and their leadership teams to ensure that financial results and key messages are shared and you’ll support stakeholders in engaging with fully available financial insight and reporting.  When it comes to our stakeholders, you’ll support and lead finance education and training to equip them with the skills required to execute their own financial responsibilities.

Among your many challenges will be the need to align financial plans to operational and strategic plans and make sure they’re clearly understood by Business Units. Seeing that each Unit is provided with a channel of effective, two-way communication with Finance will be important too. You’ll also work with colleagues in Project Governance and HR Business Partnering to support Directorate planning and business cases, as well as supporting and leading on the delivery of cross-team projects.

About you

As well as being suitably qualified (or in the final stages of qualification), you’ll need to be used to working effectively with non-finance stakeholders and varying your communication style to suit the audience you’re addressing. You’ll be experienced in assessing financial risk, and able to produce insightful financial analysis. You’ll also need excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to work to deadlines and reprioritise tasks when necessary.

Excellent analytical skills, impeccable attention to detail, a high level of numeracy and intermediate Excel skills are all ‘must haves’ too, as is proficiency in the main Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Word. Additionally, it would be an advantage if you have experience working in a Charity and have associated experience of managing restricted funds and fundraising.

This role will lead on providing senior technical advice, leadership and guidance to the planning, delivery and monitoring of communications activities across the organisation.

The successful candidate will join our existing communications team and support our communications and engagement. This role will lead on providing senior technical advice, leadership and guidance to the planning, delivery and monitoring of communications activities across the organisation. This includes supporting on elements of our communication activities; newsletter creation, website maintenance, graphic design and social media.

We are looking for someone with a creative eye, good interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail who can communicate effectively. A key part of the role will involve exploring and implementing a data visualisation tool to efficiently monitor and review the reach and effectiveness of Action Hampshire’s communications (including social media platforms, newsletter, website hits and publication downloads, event attendance).
