Role Requirements
As part of the site services team the role holder will be expected to liaise with managers and staff across the Trust. The role holder is expected to work closely with the other members of the facilities team and assist in covering in the laundry, in the deep clean team or other works as and when required.
You will be a natural and enthusiastic housekeeper working not only as part of a team but also individually. You will be health and safety aware, take ownership of your own work, and be understanding of the children’s needs here at The Children’s Trust. Good organisational skills, flexibility and being friendly and caring in nature are a must for this role. Please note that the role requires a significant degree of manual handling and working with houses services and laundry equipment.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Bonny Downs Community Association has been working together to change lives and transform our community since 1998. Over the past 25 years our team has grown to provide a wide array of services that benefit Newham residents from all walks of life.

Staff from each organisation will work together to deliver the programme and cross-refer young people to activities led by both teams. You will also be required to work with BDCA’s own Children & Families team during the summer scheme and liaise with our marketing team all year round. - A good standard of written English and IT skills would be essential, you will be writing reports and keeping record of the Children and Young Peoples progress.

The role will provide support to the Service Manager, line management to volunteers and high quality casework support to survivors living in our safe house accommodation. Campbell Rd Young Peoples service provides support and housing for 55 young people in Tower Hamlets that are either leaving care of affected by youth homelessness. The Support Worker role will be to manage a caseload of approx 7-10 young people .You will be expected to deliver positive outcomes for all our young people and support them to reach independence, keep safe and maintain their tenancy's. Aside from support workers delivering support there is a strong element of housing management associated wit this role, for example managing rents, raising/monitoring repairs and health and safety.

Oasis South Bristol hub team is now in a position to employ a Community Project Worker to work alongside our Oasis Community Hub team in South Bristol and we are looking for a talented and adaptable person to join our busy team focussed on supporting our academies in Hengrove: Oasis John Williams and Oasis New Oak and the communities they serve.
The role will encompass community support activity as well developing and running school holiday provision.
Key responsibilities will be:
- To provide enrichment activities to the children’s youth work to include holiday schemes, afterschool and lunch time clubs.
- To develop a strong food poverty programme and offer support for the community through adult education, wellbeing, advocacy/family support and volunteering opportunities.
- To work alongside the Strategic Community Development Leader to develop funding and volunteer capacity which can support the Academies holistically across all of the Hub.
- To engage and work with families supporting them to access Hub services and activities to develop their skills, knowledge and aspirations.
The successful post holder must have:
- Proven experience of community development
- Self-motivation, resilience, with excellent organisational and inter-personal skills.
- Successful experience of working with parents / carers (voluntary or paid work)
- Successful experience of working with children and young people
- Experience working with challenging behaviours and attitudes
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety

Children’s Hospice South West is a highly successful and well-established charity dedicated to the provision of hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families in the South West.
About the role
Designing and developing marketing plans and campaigns for legacy and In Memorium giving under the guidance of the Individual Giving Manager, you will be responsible to ensure legacy fundraising is promoted as an integral part of CHSW fundraising and in line with CHSW’s fundraising strategy, to include development of and leading new fundraising initiatives and relevant events.
You will be leading, driving, developing, and delivering Gifts in Wills and In Memorium appeals and campaigns, developing effective Will writing and Tribute Fund partnerships and accountable for growth in legacy and In Memorium supporter bases.
You will be responsible for growing our legacy enquiries and pledgers and In Memorium donors and Tribute Fund holders by effective attraction, engagement, and stewarding strategies.
In addition to this, you will be supporting the Legacy Officer with the administration of the legacy notification caseload.
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience of working in a fundraising and/or marketing environment and developing integrated campaigns
• A proven track record of income generation working to targets and deadlines.
• Experience of successfully managing a wide range of activities in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, to include verbal and written communication.
• Confidence, be engaging and have influential written/verbal communications skills, including public speaking.
• A full driving licence and (or ability to travel within the region).
• A qualification or relevant experience in Legacy Marketing/Administration and/or Fundraising would be advantageous but is not essential.
