Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Accountability
The post holder will be line managed by Fundraising & Engagement manager for Hertfordshire Mind Network and will also be accountable to the access lead for Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust Wellbeing Service, but will manage their own workload, prioritising tasks and working on their own initiative.

- To support organisational growth and development in line with strategic priorities, by providing the team with informed data regarding access
- To involve clients, carers, staff and volunteers in access and engagement work
- To work closely with colleagues to inform service development to reflect the needs of local communities
Key Responsibilities (The Wellbeing Service)
- To work in line with the aims of the Wellbeing Service Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme and the operational policy of the service
- To ensure the service is fully accessible to service users and carers and provide information on the service
Marketing and Promotional Activity
- Promote and raise the profile of Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) and the Wellbeing Service provision within the local community. The aim is to raise awareness within the community of IAPT work and mental health provision and promote awareness of the of the issue relating to mental health
- To ensure services are fully accessible by making information available and disseminating it
- Attend community events and conferences – actively promoting both The Wellbeing Service and Hertfordshire Mind Network; this includes digital events and conferences
- To develop and work with colleagues to create innovative ways to promote the Wellbeing Services and Hertfordshire Mind Network Services including use of social media, videos, and traditional promotional methods e.g., leaflet drops
- To support in the development of mental health social media promotional campaigns; this will include using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube as marketing tools and using digital marketing skills such as the creation of promotional videos
- Design and develop promotional materials and facilitate the distribution of these materials
- To promote empowerment and choice of service provision
- Be pro-active in researching promotional opportunities such as local events, flagship days, digital platforms, and conferences
- Update local resource information and share this with the relevant teams
Identifying Pathways
- To work with the Wellbeing Services and Hertfordshire Mind Network to ensure a clear route of support is available, considering appropriate pathways and how these can be navigated
- To work with the Wellbeing Services to identify progression routes and provide a safe and supported exit for service users from the service; in line with this, explore service development and operational processes to support with this.
- Active liaison between the Wellbeing Service and Hertfordshire Mind Network e.g., Sharing of service information, cross promotion, and following up queries
- Provide support and signposting information to members of the public to access community groups that enable service users and/or carers to participate in local community activities and maintain their independence
- To develop sound knowledge of local resources to support in enabling good referrals to be made when necessary
- To look at how referrals are managed between Hertfordshire Mind Network and Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS foundation trust in conjunction with proposed targets and outcomes
Partnership Working and Building Relationships
- Offer presentations on the work of the Wellbeing Service and Hertfordshire Mind Network and raise awareness around mental health and challenge stigma
- Build good links with referral agencies such as Community Mental Health Services, Housing Organisations, community drugs and alcohol services, GP’s, and the Voluntary Sector to raise the profile of the Wellbeing Service and the work of Hertfordshire Mind Network
- Work in a way that acknowledges the personal, social, cultural, and spiritual strengths and needs of the individual
- Keep an up-to-date database of local organisations for signposting and networking
Evaluation and Monitoring
- Develop and manage the project in accordance with any partnership or funding agreements
- To be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of the project and reporting outcomes to Hertfordshire Mind Network and Hertfordshire Foundation University NHS Foundation Trust
- To ensure that all records and confidential information is stored appropriately

Job purpose
You will be working as part of our Recovery and Outreach team, supporting people to work towards what is meaningful for them. You will create links with primary care and voluntary sector organisations to support people. Job purpose
The role of the Intake Officer plays an integral role at the front door or first point of call for service users. This includes supporting the duty service with responding to enquiries, providing expert information and advice, initial assessment, and referral. You will also provide up front interventions and / or accessing Jami and other services. The Intake Officer will support in the delivery of the telephone support waiting list, for those waiting to access core services, whilst holding a case load of clients. This will include emotional support either on the phone or in person whilst providing short- term work in the community in conjunction with undertaking core duty tasks.

Flexibility

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke.
Position: Stroke Association Support Coordinator
Location: Homebased – Southampton However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (May include team meetings or other work related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week
Salary: Circa £19,496 per annum (FTE circa £24,370 per annum)
Contract: This is a 12 month fixed term contract from start date. Our services are contracted; we currently have funding for this contract until 31 March 2023

The Role
Reporting to the London Service Delivery Coach Team, the Stroke Association Support Coordinator provides stroke survivors, carers and families with personalised support throughout the stroke recovery journey. The purpose of the role is:
- To work with stroke survivors to identify and establish their personal communication and social goals.
- To plan and deliver meaningful activities to address identified communication support needs and goals in a variety of ways including both individual sessions and small group sessions.
- To work collaboratively with a range of organisations, clinicians and other professionals to create meaningful networks, providing the best possible support throughout the stroke pathway and into the community

We’re currently looking for a home-based Health & Safety Officer to cover maternity leave. The health and safety officer will lead the development, promotion and implementation of a H&S culture within Richmond Fellowship. A key member of our Performance & Quality team, your challenge in this interesting fixed term contract role will be to embed policy into practice, share good practice and disseminate relevant information across the organisation. As well as acting as RF’s competent person under regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, you’ll be the main H&S contact with external regulators and HSE. We’ll also rely on you review and monitor policy, support staff with H&S queries and lead facilitation, coaching and training response to any identified H&S issues.
To succeed, you’ll need good knowledge of H&S legislation, plus the ability to interpret and apply it. You’ll also need a flair for translating policy into practice using a variety of approaches. Experience of leading change management projects and/or delivering training or briefing sessions on H&S issues would also be useful, although this is not essential. What is for sure though is that you’re comfortable working with others to improve H&S practice, great at prioritising your work, have excellent report writing skills, a good level of numeracy and a flexible attitude to working hours. A full driving license and willingness to travel regularly is also required.
The salary for this post is £31,358 with progression to £32,982 per annum. This is a fixed term post Maternity Cover for 12 months. This is a full time role requiring the post holder to work 37.5 hours per week.
