About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sustrans Behaviour Change and Engagement Team as it looks to encourage those in Harlow and the surrounding area to walk, wheel, and cycle.
As an Active Travel Project Officer in Harlow and Gilston Town (HGGT), you will assist in the delivery of the behaviour change programme to schools, workplaces and community groups. The project will encourage and enable the community to travel sustainably and actively, through various initiatives, events and competitions.
Your role will include duties such as the creation of materials and communications to increase the visibility of your work, delivering activities and events with a variety of people, reporting and presenting to stakeholders, and analysing surveys and other monitoring data.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people such as local community leaders, schools, businesses, local authority officers, along with all Sustrans colleagues within the region.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should have experience of planning and delivering projects, workshops or activities for a diverse audience.
You will be experienced in developing relationships and working with a wide range of stakeholders, being able to build rapport and influence people.
We also ask that you have experience in planning effectively using multiple systems, including Microsoft packages, and processes to meet the deadlines of each project.
You will be experienced in writing for different audiences and purposes such as reports, assemblies, promotional material, briefings etc.
You will be skilled in being able to prioritise a complex workload.

About St Giles and the Project
An ambitious, well-established charity that helps people facing adversity to find jobs, homes, and the right support they need. Central to our ethos is our belief that people with first-hand experience of successfully overcoming issues such as an offending background, homelessness, addictions, and gang involvement, hold the key to positive change in others.
St Giles in partnership with Leeds schools and the Area Inclusion Partnership (AIP) and the Leeds Safe Task Force is looking to appoint a team of Education Welfare and Inclusion Mentors to support the delivery of this exciting DfE sponsored programme across the city. About this pivotal role
Have you worked with socially excluded or challenging young people and other vulnerable groups? Do you have personal experience of gangs, knife crime or the other issues they face? Are you able to provide 1:1 mentoring support? Then join us as an Education Inclusion Mentor.
Working as an Education Welfare and Inclusion Mentor you will have relevant experience of successfully engaging and working with children and young people in an inclusive, relational and restorative capacity to secure positive outcomes. You will understand of the needs of vulnerable children and young people, the communities they live in and of how disadvantage can impact on learning and life chances. To secure this role:
- You must have a proven track record of engaging positively with young people, young offenders or other vulnerable groups, plus providing support, advocacy, and the ability to assess clients’ needs.

- Be able to establish positive and professional relationships with the children, young people, and professionals.
- Be able to build trust and create a safe space for children and young people in which to explore challenging and potentially traumatic issues and topics.

The Trussell Trust are seeking a Philanthropy Executive - Trusts to join our high-performing Trusts team. The role supports the Trussell Trust by raising money from charitable trusts, focusing specifically on Tier 3 trusts (giving up to c.£10,000). You will coordinate a programme of regular stewardship communications to our current givers, fundraise from new prospects through mailings and occasional applications, provide administrative support to the wider team, and ensure that records of communications are kept up to date.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and send mass mailings to Tier 3 charitable trusts, thanking supporters and requesting further support where appropriate
• Develop compelling, persuasive and up-to-date bulk communications to encourage Tier 3 trusts to give regularly, and keep them informed of the Trussell Trust’s achievements and future plans, coordinating with other fundraising teams where appropriate
• Manage a caseload of c.500 Tier 3 trusts, maintaining accurate records on our CRM database and carrying out analysis on these trusts as necessary
• Liaise with the Supporter Care and Trusts team to ensure that gifts from trusts are coded, thanked and recorded correctly on our database
• Create and submit occasional funding applications and impact reports for Tier 3 trusts, and offer support to the wider team with their trusts where necessary

The Role
As our Supporter Engagement Assistant, you will join our Fundraising Team to help us build strong and lasting relationships with our charity's supporters and donors.
Reporting to the Supporter Engagement Officer, you will deliver excellent customer service over the telephone, in written (email and postal) communications and face to face and ensure that supporters' details are accurately recorded on the CRM database. You will be representing the charity, explaining its purpose, and demonstrating our charity values to donors/supporters, showing appropriate empathy to those who may have cancer or a family member/friend who does.
This role provides a great opportunity to make a real difference to the people of Yorkshire and requires someone with a friendly manner, good team-working skills, great customer service and excellent organisational skills.
Specifically, you will:

Ensure supporter communications are accurate, timely and appropriate to the recipient. This includes following the relevant pathways to process donations, record legacy pledges, update key information so that the communication is tailored and relevant to the individual supporter.

Update supporter records on our database to reflect changes in marketing permissions, personal details, the charity's relationship with the supporter (e.g. Volunteer/ Donor/ Brand Ambassador etc.) and any communications had between the supporter & the charity.

Use the CRM System to run supplied data queries to deliver campaigns (e.g. using Mail Merge) and to create and deliver supporter communications, this includes printing and posting letters and sending emails, making updates to supporter records and fulfilling requests for information.

Work alongside the Supporter Engagement Officer & Individual Giving Manager to improve the initial welcome for newly acquired regular donors and the onwards stewardship journey for all supporters. Conducting research and contributing ideas to improve the supporter journeys and implementing these processes independently.

Undertake other duties and take on a lead role in supporting projects relevant to the purpose of the role as requested by members of the CRM, Marketing, Fundraising or Research & Services teams.

Role purpose:
The Partnerships & Income Operations Manager plays a multifaceted role encompassing driving pipeline prospecting efforts, managing certain impact reporting initiatives, and nurturing corporate partnerships. Main responsibilities and accountabilities:
Corporate Partnerships:

Pipeline Prospecting:

We’re looking for a highly motivated communications professional who is passionate about supporting the growth of FoodCycle and working to help people understand the many benefits of community dining.
We’ve grown a lot over the last 15 years and our weekly community meals now run in more than 85 towns and cities across England and Wales. This role is vitally important in supporting our growth - we have plans to reach 100 Community Meal Projects by the end of this year as well as launching new initiatives that will help us support more families and children.
The post holder will work closely with the Head of Marketing and the wider marketing team to develop campaigns and plans that will get as many people as possible talking about FoodCycle’s work, enhance our visibility and become the leaders in delivering and promoting community dining.
You will have experience working within media or PR, with a track record of securing high quality media coverage. You will have knowledge of the media landscape, and the ability to craft a press release, pitch a story, work with case studies, and write blog posts.
