The postholder will be expected to deliver face to face to face LifeSkills sessions within the North West, primarily but not exclusively in Greater Manchester. They will also be expected to travel occasionally to other areas of the country for meetings (eg team meetings).

About LifeSkills
The LifeSkills programme will offer groups of families the chance to come together to a trusted venue such as a children’s centre or community setting. As well as offering opportunities for families to spend quality time together and have access to healthy food, these sessions will offer LifeSkills workshops for parents and carers to build their confidence, social networks, financial and employability skills. Examples include but are not limited to overcoming setbacks, managing debt, boosting confidence to return to work, CV writing, interview skills. The aims of the LifeSkills programme are to support participants to increase their confidence and 21st century skills, move closer to training/volunteering/employment, improve their social networks, and grow their confidence to provide low cost and nutritious meals.
The role involves delivering LifeSkills sessions to groups of families in the Greater Manchester area. The postholder will also be the main point of contact for delivery partners hosting programmes (e.g. small charities, schools) and staff and volunteers delivering sessions, and be expected to respond promptly to a wide range of queries and requests for support. Examples might include, for instance, devising LifeSkills programmes for different cohorts, presenting to potential partners, devising risk assessments, recording data, and visiting and providing guidance and support for staff and volunteers delivering sessions in venues across the country.

JOB PURPOSE:
- Working to assess, plan and implement our programmes with chosen education partners within the community.

ESSENTIAL
- Proven ability to understand the current, complex educational environment and the needs of staff and young people within these settings.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our new service supporting Unpaid Carers across Lewisham to improve their health and wellbeing, and access support that meets their needs.
The team works with unpaid Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers, completing statutory and holistic assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need. You will carry out home visits and community meetings, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Unpaid Carers, families, and professionals.
You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Unpaid Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Unpaid Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector. The role
We’re seeking a well-organised coordinator to join our growing support services team and help us reach more people living with secondary (metastatic) breast cancer. You will coordinate the successful delivery of face to face and online services providing information and emotional support in England.
You’ll work as part of a team based across the UK and arrange delivery of services in England, playing a key role in increasing our reach and uptake.
You’ll liaise with venues, expert speakers and support our team of dedicated qualified sessional therapists, as well as providing technical support for the running of monthly online services. And you’ll build productive relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to promote our services and increase their reach and uptake.

We’re looking for someone with experience of developing and delivering information and support services, preferably in a health or charity environment. You’ll understand the challenges for people living with illness or complex health or social needs and be keen to use your excellent organisation and time management skills to juggle a busy workload. A great team player, you’ll be flexible and able to travel and work outside normal office hours, including regular overnight stays. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently hiring a Service Manager to lead multiple services across Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a specialist UK charity which provides expert care and support for refugees and people seeking asylum who have experienced extreme human cruelty such as torture or human trafficking. The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. You will be at the heart of an exciting team of experts, working as the face of HBF and the first point of contact for both external and internal queries. Role purpose
