About You

As our Philanthropy Manager (Trusts) you will play a pivotal role in cultivating, nurturing, and growing relationships with Trusts and Foundations. This role involves working collaboratively across Save the Children teams to develop compelling proposals, secure support, and create sustainable partnerships.

You will also be responsible for independently providing expert stewardship and management of a portfolio of donors as well as actively driving new business creating and securing partnerships that create lasting impact for children.

In this role, you will:

• Independently managing a portfolio of existing and new donors through a variety of personalised and creative approaches ensuring excellent stewardship and translating into increased income for Save the Children 
• Actively driving new business, working closely with key members of Save the Children's programming teams, the Trusts & Foundations Lead and other colleagues to identify and assess new prospects and to identify the most appropriate and impactful proposition to secure partnerships that create impact for children. 
• Developing networks amongst donors and prospects to promote Save the Children's work and grow opportunities for philanthropic gifts. 
• Working cross-departmentally to produce high quality written proposals, bids, concept notes and applications for donors.
• Working in collaboration with other colleagues to identify, design and execute new engagement events, opportunities, and products for potential and existing donors.

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Experience of working in a fundraising environment or similar experience where comparable skills can be used to work with potential high-level funders and supporters.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships with, engage and influence a wide range of donors, and stakeholders (internal and external)
• Independent worker with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet deadlines, and pro-actively identify and pursue new opportunities.
• Project or partnership management skills including reporting, budgeting, meeting deadlines and working across multiple teams. 
• Problem solving skills and a flexible, creative and positive approach.
• Strong communication skills – both written and oral – with the ability to develop and deliver compelling propositions and stewardship communications.

Ways of Working:

ABOUT BLACK ROOTZ

Black Rootz is a multigenerational growing project providing opportunities for Black and racially minoritised people to grow food for themselves, their families and their communities. Black Rootz was established in 2019 by a collective of Black growers in Haringey who recognised the need to organise to challenge the deep inequalities in the growing and food systems. Over the past 5 years, Black Rootz has developed a holistic practice for Black and racially minoritised communities incorporating intergenerational knowledge transfer, increased access to land and food sovereignty, regenerative environmental practices and reduced food inequality.

Black Rootz has been incubated as a project within The Ubele Initiative since 2019. As an established name in the growing community, it is now building towards an independent future.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Manager is a new role that will provide hands on management capacity to Black Rootz. The role will bring experience and energy to support the delivery and continued development of the project’s core activities; the Community Growing Programme and a new workshop series. The Project Manager will take on a management position and, with support from Ubele, help the project to navigate decisions that will enable Black Rootz to achieve its overall social, environmental, and operational ambitions. 

The successful candidate will be central in Black Rootz’ journey towards a more independent and sustainable future. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the complexity andholistic nature of Black Rootz and will be committed to its values. As a small team, the Project Manager will be as comfortable making plans and big decisions as they are rolling their sleeves up and being hands on to support the team. While this is a fixed-term contract, we expect the role to be extended and grow over time.

The Role 

This is a newly created opportunity for you to support all aspects of bid writing, grant applications, and responding to tenders at Best Beginnings. This will include collaborating with colleagues and partners to develop and execute engaging applications to a range of funders to support our work. 

You will be a confident writer, able to communicate the value of our work clearly and succinctly, ideally with previous experience writing and/or assisting with grant and bid proposals. Experience in the charity sector is not essential but highly desired. 

Working with the Head of Fundraising, you will focus on identifying new funding opportunities, planning approaches, gathering information, and writing high quality, compelling applications, to generate additional income for us to further develop our services. 

You will also be identifying appropriate funding sources for organisations we support, providing them with guidance on writing high quality applications, planning their year, and developing a suite of resources with the communications team to enable this. 

You will need experience of writing content and developing applications to large and small funding bodies. You will be able to evidence securing income and be skilled in presenting complex project information in a clear and engaging way. 

With exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), a mind for collaboration in a team, scoping project potential, and facilitating team conversations to turn ideas into specific, actionable pathways for new and existing projects.

About the role

As Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and reporting on impact of the international programmes (TI Defence and Security programme 90%, TI Global Health 10%). You will provide the technical and functional support to the programmes by capturing, analysing and reporting project results as well documenting and sharing project learnings from within the TI and global chapter programmes.

In addition to this role, you will:

Monitoring (40%)

• Be responsible for rolling out the results monitoring framework and results reporting strategy by gathering and analysing outcome and impact data via day-to-day monitoring and quarterly simplified outcome harvesting exercises.
• Present findings to the Programme Management team and donors.
• Lead on devising, coordinating, and conducting regular data-quality assurance initiatives
• Play a key role in designing Theories of Change for TI and global chapters.
• Drive MEL system acceptance and strengthen a ‘MEL culture’ within the team. 
• Review and advise on improvements to the Theory of Change and logframe to ensure relevance and measurable pathway to impact

Learning (40%)

• Develop processes to ensure learning is identified and captured across all areas of the programme.
• Lead the creation of regular learning briefs, including brainstorming key topics, gathering evidence from key TI chapters around the world, reporting on lessons learned, and presenting findings internally and externally.
• Collect, analyse, synthesise, and present on the latest evidence on ‘what works’ in anticorruption sector.
• Facilitate regular learning sessions within the team to institutionalise key knowledge and skills.

Evaluation (10%)

• Assist TI and chapter programme teams in the design and roll out of programme evaluations.

Data and Knowledge Management (5%)

• Act as DS point of contact for the M&E lead to capture, disseminate project learning and ensure that this is fed into future TI and partner work.

About you

To be successful in the role you will have/will be:

• Proven experience of the design and implementing of Monitoring and Learning frameworks in international programmes (ideally covering Fragile and Conflict Affected States)
• Applied training in or experience working with research methods (quantitative and qualitative)

9. Take the lead role in ensuring the youthwork database (Plinth) is maintained and kept up to date, and reports are produced for CE and trustees. 

10. Support the Fundraising Team on fundraising activities where necessary. 

The job is not limited to the above duties, as the organisation develops and at different times of the year the priorities may shift leading to additional reasonable responsibilities as the role requires.

Main duties and responsibilities

Partnership Management 

• Responsible for coordinating, managing and supporting RCUK’s collaborative activity with community and corporate partner organisations in the UK.
• Act as the central link between partner organisations, and our patient and public voice group.
• Manage relationships with both corporate and community partnerships developing strong new relationships and strengthening existing relationships, liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

• Lead on the implementation of a new partnership strategy for RCUK working closely with the Director of Communications and Engagement and key internal stakeholders, ensuring it remains relevant and develops across the life of our partnership activity. 
• Lead on developing bespoke individual plans for each partner relationship.
• Lead on proactively researching and developing a pipeline of new partners whose values and mission align with the RCUK vision, presenting progress in monthly stakeholder meetings.

Introduction to the role

Full Fact fights bad information. We’re recruiting for a new Product Manager (Supporter Experience) to help tackle the spread of misleading, dangerous claims—and hold those responsible to account.

As Product Manager (Supporter Experience), you will make sure those who make false claims in public can’t get away with it. Every day our team of fact checkers and campaigners find, check and challenge false claims. We identify the reasons for bad information, so we can campaign to change the systems that enable it. Your job will be to raise awareness of, and build support for, our cause through managing our supporter experience on our digital platforms.

This is your chance to work on campaigns that demand national media attention and ultimately change public debate for the better—with a supportive team behind you.

Bad information—whether shared by politicians, journalists or influencers online—ruins lives. No one should settle for it. You’ll win support for Full Fact’s cause and make change happen through delivery of digital products that gain public support for our policy and advocacy work.

Job Definition

The Product Manager (Supporter Experience) is responsible for planning the digital strategy and executing the plan to deliver online content and campaigns that increase awareness of our work and drive the public to take action and donate to our cause. 

You will manage multiple digital products and platforms, implementing data-driven improvements to ensure optimum usability and accessibility. Responsible for understanding and developing the user journey across digital touchpoints - as diverse as online advertising, campaigns and virtual events - you will advise on how best to improve the user experience and manage our content. 

You will manage a multi disciplinary team of people who deliver our CRM, website, email campaigns, audience research and community initiatives. 

Outcomes

In the first 6 months you’ll have the opportunity to coordinate the delivery of at least 3 campaigns that are designed to end deceptive campaign practices by political parties, improve regulation of political advertising and encourage MPs and Ministers to correct the record when they make a wrong or misleading claim. You’ll have access to new audience research data, and will use that to inform the work we do.

You’ll bring together a team of multi disciplinary experts to deliver on our campaigning aims. You’ll work with them to develop our website, CRM and mailing list to have the greatest impact, ensuring we have the right data to make good decisions.

You’ll build relationships with teams across Full Fact helping others to meet their aims, particularly supporting fundraising to deliver income-generating online communications.

Key tasks

Line Management:

Website and campaigns management

• Project manage the campaign lifecycle, ensuring all deliverables and milestones are achieved, across multiple teams and functions (e.g. work with the Individual Giving Manager to design campaigns that increase donations). 

• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Editorial team in the development of a content strategy that drives engagement and high-quality growth. 

• Work closely with the rest of the team to create compelling, engaging and action-oriented copy across a range of digital communications.

• Identify digital suppliers (e.g. PPC and Paid Social campaigns) which can help us build campaigns targeting different audience segments. Own the relationship and workflow to ensure they have all the materials they need to succeed and hold them to account based on agreed targets.

• Assist the team with website updates using our CMS (Django) as well as contributing to larger website projects.

• Work with direct reports to set up landing pages and data capture forms, build our mailing list, manage multiple email campaigns and perform thorough QA and testing on website, email and CRM builds.

• Oversee building and testing of user journeys to ensure workflows are correctly set up across platforms, and identify any areas for improvements.

• Advise and make recommendations on product roadmaps based on learnings from data analysis, audience research, knowledge of trends and best practice and experience of campaign delivery.

Data management and analysis

• Assist the team in designing user research and analysing audience data to ensure our decisions are informed by an understanding of our existing and potential supporters.

• Understand the organisational needs for data to inform how we acquire and retain supporters. 

• Lead projects to integrate our Salesforce CRM with any new additions to the website (e.g. lead generation forms). 

• Work with the CRM Administrator to ensure the data is available, clean and accurate, and to prioritise and action internal CRM requests for training, issues and new functionality.

• Deliver monthly, quarterly and campaign-specific performance reports across all channels, highlighting achievements, insights and lessons learnt, informing a plan to further drive performance and ROI improvement.

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. Purpose of the Business Development Manager role: 

As Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in generating income for the charity – securing high value corporate partnerships and working on product development in collaboration with service delivery teams. Main Purpose of the Post

This post will play a key role in ensuring that Women's Aid continues to be recognised and respected for the survivor-centred expert voice on domestic abuse, with a particular lead on amplifying the voices of our member services. In particular, the post holder will be responsible for delivering an organisation-wide local influencing strategy and lead on other areas of strategic policy focus.

The post holder will work closely with the Policy and Membership teams to ensure that Women’s Aid responds effectively to the implementation of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, the Health and Social Care Act, and Victim and Prisoners Bill. The role will be responsible for building sustainable relationships and influence with key local stakeholders across England, including local authorities, commissioners, and Women’s Aid member services.

You will: provide line management to the Policy & Practice part of the Policy team; ensure that the public, stakeholders, Women’s Aid’s member services and staff are supported with policy expertise on a range of areas; champion best commissioning practice; coordinate policy responses to government and other agencies; and work with senior leaders across the organisation to ensure that Women’s Aid and its members are equipped to seize key policy opportunities. The post holder will seek to ensure that Women’s Aid has a robust local network across England and a long-term strategy for influence.
