Job description

NAPAC exists to support survivors of childhood abuse. The damage caused by abuse in childhood doesn’t always end in childhood.  Many adults with a history of childhood abuse can continue to suffer – from post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, depression and other issues. They can suffer from low self-esteem and be prone to self-harm or suicide.  It doesn’t have to be this way – this the chance for you to change someone’s life for the better.

We are seeking a creative and resilient Temporary Communications Officer to join our friendly team in London. The Temporary Communications Officer is a new role to support NAPAC’s internal and external communications and engagement activities. They will lead the day to day management of NAPAC’s social media and be a key contributor to developing materials for use online and in print. Overall, they will have a commitment to excellent in everything NAPAC does for survivors and their supporters.

Salary: £25,200 pa, pro rata, with hourly rate and contract arrangements possible

Hours:  21 per week (0.6 FT) minimum, worked flexibly across the week

Contract: ten weeks (with possibility of extension)
