Reporting directly to the Head of Programmes & Funding, you will play a pivotal role in planning, developing, and submitting trust proposals aligned with our organisational strategy and values. Key Responsibilities:

You’ll be part of a team delivering regional roadshows across the country. You’ll help facilitate on the day, presenting to kinship carers across England. Alongside roadshows you’ll deliver introductory training at local peer support groups.
You’ll join a new team – Advice, Training and Information who will be resolute about creating a positive and impactful learning experience for all kinship carers in England. A strong facilitator and communicator, you will need to be great at presenting content to kinship carers. You’ll need to calm under pressure and able to deliver exceptional in person workshops and training to small and large audiences.

You’ll be curious – and always thinking about how you can improve your delivery and the experience for kinship carers. We’re building a team who is open, focussed on the needs of kinship carers and who are looking to continuously and positively improve.
As part of this new training service, you’ll receive all the training and development to support you to succeed in this role. This may include overnight stays as part of induction and training. This is a role that will need to travel and we’re happy to discuss how this could work best if you have kinship caring responsibilities. You will not be responsible for logistics.

Joining the Performance Marketing team, at a well-loved Children’s Charity, the role of Digital Marketing Business Partner will be to support the development, delivery and optimisation of the paid marketing strategy across a variety of campaigns including Brand, Volunteering, and New Product Development, along with coordinating digital activity including website content and organic social activity. The Head of South England & Wales is responsible for leading our vision to end the need for food banks in South England & Wales. This role will lead our team of Network Leads and Area Managers as they empower every food bank to orientate their work towards ending the need for their services through the provision of bespoke support, enabling them to reduce the numbers of people requiring emergency food. This role will work with key national partners in South England and Wales to support our network to tackle the underlying drivers of poverty.
Role responsibilities
· Responsible, as a member of the organisation’s Senior Leadership Team for leading the delivery of the Trussell Trust strategy for ending the need for food banks in South England and Wales, working to embed the Changing Communities, Changing Minds and Changing Policy programmes across the network.
· Lead the Area team in South England and Wales to ensure the safe and effective operations of the food bank network, in partnership Trussell Trust’s People Directorate.
· Oversee the investment in and upskilling of our Area team to ensure they have the capacity, skills and resources required to deliver the five-year strategy and support to food banks.
· Drive the delivery of the baseline service for food banks across South England and Wales, ensuring tools, resources, services and systems are fit for purpose and tailored to local contexts.

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:
· Leading complex delivery programmes nationally and locally,
· Expertise of significantly growing services and programmes; leading, motivating and inspiring teams; leading culture change.
· An effective communicator, verbally and in writing. Diplomatic and with the interpersonal skills required by the role.
· Manage multiple projects, identifying conflicting demands and establishing clear priorities in order to meet agreed objectives.
· Ensure that due regard is given to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within all objectives that report into this department.

Communications and Events Officer £25,000 per annum (pro-rata)
Full time role (37.5 hours) with an initial 6-month fixed term contract continuing subject to funding.
Remote working, with the option for hybrid working (up to two days in the office) in London, Manchester and Cardiff.

Main purpose of role
To enable the delivery of 1MM’s communications strategy, across the organisation, to extend our reach and build engagement within our community: ensuring we cost effectively produce and deploy powerful content and co-ordinated messages across all our communications channels, and to a broad range of audiences, alongside the promotion and administration of our events programme.

Remuneration and benefits: Salary bracket of £25,000 (pro rata), up to 6.5% employer pension contribution and 25 days holiday per year (pro rata).
