The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past two years, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model.  The museum is building a new strategy that will lead its transformation over the next 10 years as it tests out innovative new models for exhibitions, displays, learning and engagement, building towards a new permanent site and dynamic operational model.  Learning and engagement are central to the museum’s future.  This new role will support the learning and engagement team by coordinating bookings, marketing and communications for the team.

Our museum is made up of passionate and expert staff and a collection of over 40,000 objects which are both accredited and designated with Outstanding status by Arts Council England. Our learning programmes hold multiple awards, and our visitor feedback is consistently very high, however, we have much bigger ambitions than our current success. The Museum is looking to expand, in space, in profile and in audience reach. We are looking for someone passionate about our potential to coordinate the day-to-day running of the learning team as we move forward to the next phase of the Jewish Museum London.

Reporting to the Head of Learning the appointed candidate will have the organisational and administrative skills to ensure the team can effectively deliver programmes for schools, families and communities as well as taking a lead on communicating the museum’s activity through social media, newsletters and the website.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The main role of the Learning and Communications Coordinator will be to administrate the activities of the learning department, in particular our flagship programme of schools workshops both in person and digitally. Excellent communication skills are required as this role will involve being the first point of contact for the department, responding to queries, liaising with teachers, taking bookings and sending out pre- and post- activity information.  You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of this busy and creative team by providing, general administration, organisational and hands-on practical support—invoicing, ordering materials and supplies, auditing resources, collating and recording evaluation data and transporting materials and equipment for our outreach, offsite events and workshops.  Digital learning and communications are central to how we engage our audiences so the post holder will need to a good level of social media and technical literacy in order to update learning and events sections on the website, support the delivery of virtual workshops, coordinate the social media working group and create newsletters.

Learning programme bookings and coordination

· To be the first point of contact for all enquiries about learning programme activities and the main contact for liaising with teachers and taking bookings

· Co-ordinate and administrate all bookings for the schools outreach, virtual and broadcast programmes—from taking bookings and booking facilitators through to invoicing and evaluation

· Organise bookings, delivery and return of museum loan boxes

· Audit and prepare the handling collection for workshops

· Close collaboration with the Senior Learning Producer: Schools to assign learning team members and freelancers to workshops including leading on contracting and financial administration of freelance facilitators

· Support with organising and delivery of informal and community learning activities and events including the Curious Minds Dementia Friendly programme and family learning events

· General support and assistance for activities and programmes as required

Team Administration

· Managing the team’s calendar of activity

· Ensure that bookings spreadsheets and databases including Raisers Edge, Artifax, Excel sheets and Monday Boards are kept up to date and accurate

· Collating statistics and data for reporting

· Maintain the carbon calculator tracking for the team

· Order any resources, materials, equipment and travel (such as oyster cards, train tickets and taxis) for the team

· Coordinate room bookings and generating zoom links for workshops, meetings and activities

· Set up regular team meetings as required, circulating minutes/ action points and ensuring follow up actions are taken

· Work with finance to ensure that schools workshops and activities are invoiced and to coordinate payment of freelancers

· Help ensure good communication throughout the team and organisation

· Ad hoc duties e.g. filing, typing reports and letters from manual copy

· Freelancer communication and administration, including organising the Rota

Digital and Communications

· Provide general technical support to the department including setting up zoom links and equipment for broadcasts and virtual classrooms

· Updating the learning sections of the website—events, resources, image libraries and programme information

· Contributing to learning’s presence on social media channels

· Coordinating the production of learning newsletters and marketing materials

Job Purpose

As BSR’s Head of Policy,  you will lead a portfolio of work that truly supports our members’ priorities and works towards creating the conditions that will enable rheumatology care across the UK to thrive and flourish. 

To excel in this role you will need to be comfortable working both at a strategic level and with detail and data. You will ensure BSR understands and responds to current and emerging needs in rheumatology practice, identifying gaps in quality, policy and research. You will develop BSR’s evidence and intelligence base about our members’ priorities, the state of rheumatology care across the UK and the challenges and opportunities in rheumatology. Through collaborating with colleagues you’ll help us ensure this insight informs our policy agenda, our strategic planning and operational decision making, ultimately achieving maximum possible impact in our work to drive-up standards in the delivery of rheumatology services and to inspire and activate changes that improve lives. 

Main responsibilities

• Leadership and management 
  • Work closely with BSR’s Senior Management Team to devise and deliver priorities for the portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and identifying opportunities to maximise impact  
  • Ensure that BSR’s decision making is informed by the best available and appropriate level of evidence by communicating strategic insights across the organisation  
  • Lead, coach and support team members and manage overall team capacity and resource planning 
  • Oversee contract and budget management for the team and across individual projects, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources 
  • Collaborate with the SMT and other teams to ensure integrated approaches to policy, communications, and member engagement 
  • Provide support and strategic insight to BSR working groups, including the Clinical Affairs Committee and MDT Advisory Council

  • Ensure BSR’s members and senior leaders receive timely analysis of key policy and practice developments impacting rheumatology

In this role, the individual will manage a caseload of clients requiring early intervention or preventative mental health support, delivering group activities and co-produced programmes that empower service users to achieve their goals. They will clearly communicate the service's aims, objectives, and pathways to ensure users can fully participate and collaborate in their own support. The role involves supporting service users in engaging with various community professionals, including mental health teams, social workers, housing providers, health professionals, and Job Centre Plus. They will work flexibly within a team to ensure service coverage and meet contractual obligations, while also developing and encouraging participation in peer support networks and community-based initiatives. Active monitoring of the health, wellbeing, safety, and security of the service and its users is essential, ensuring all concerns are promptly addressed in line with procedures. The role also includes participating in core service functions, supporting colleagues, and using initiative to complete tasks as they arise. Timely and accurate administration is required, with a strong emphasis on maintaining confidentiality. The individual will also be responsible for ensuring effective and timely referrals, assessments, and service reviews, and will regularly engage in supervision, appraisals, and reviews to support continuous development.

About the role

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Officer with paid advertising and organic social media experience to join our Digital team.

As Digital Marketing Officer, you’ll be responsible for creating email marketing campaigns, running paid advertising activity and creating content across organic social channels to help teams across the organisation hit their objectives. You’ll be joining our friendly and expert Digital Engagement Team. 

You’ll have previous experience managing email and paid marketing campaigns, creating content for social channels and using digital platforms including Meta Business Manager, Email Service Providers and GA4.

What will I be doing?

Email responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end email campaigns including briefing, copywriting, creation in Dotdigital, send and evaluation 

Paid responsibilities 

• Deliver paid digital marketing campaigns in-house including running virtual challenge ads in Meta – working with the Product Lead to design the campaign plan, draft the copy, build in-platform, optimise and evaluate 
• Assist with paid advertising campaigns run by our digital media agency, ensuring they have clear briefs, assets are provided on-time and campaigns are delivered to plan

General Digital Marketing responsibilities

• Be part of the team’s social media monitoring rota and moderate our social channels - ensuring comments are appropriately handled in line with the social media policy
• Create and schedule content across organic social channels to support key campaigns

Anerley Station Road and Horn Lane are innovative young people semi- independent accommodation services. Anerley Station Road is based in one site in Bromley and Horn Lane is spread across two neighbouring sites in Eailing, both services support a broad range of service users including Looked After Children, Care Leavers, Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children, as well as other young people being referred in for multiple support needs.
The services work closely with statutory services to provide wrap around support for each customer within the service. Support is provided by a large and skilled workforce with specialist roles.
We are recruiting for an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist to join the team who will lead in facilitating therapeutic groups and individual counselling /therapy for customers across the two locations spending 4 hours a week at each service.

The post holder will support the staff team in developing their psychological understanding and raising awareness in the emotional impact of working with young people, whilst leading on creating and maintaining a therapeutically informed programme for the team to deliver Psychological Informed Environment in the service.

The Therapist will work with young people to improve engagement with support services as well as providing in depth sessions with young people with the desired outcome of the young person having a clearer insight into their own emotional wellbeing.

The post holder will have a creative approach to engaging young people including group and individual therapy and will tailor their interactions to each young person (this could involve using any approach which might be easier for the young person to engage with: self-expression, mindfulness, art, creative writing etc.).

Key information and documentation will be kept up to the required standard as expected between a therapist and a client and the post holder will adhere to all relevant legislation that governs these professional relationships.

The post holder will work flexibly across the service and will use technology were appropriate to ensure time is effectively used across the service provision.

What you'll do:
* Adopt and implement a Psychological informed Environment in the service.
* To support the team in carrying out holistic assessments on appropriate support plans, and comprehensive risk assessments in full consultation with service-users, their families/carers, and other agencies.
* To liaise with the multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively to ensure that full information is given (in case of risk) to enable a robust assessment of service-users.
* Lead on staff team debriefs following any serious incidents, develop workshops to assist staff in managing stress and wellbeing in the workplace and advise the manager on supportive interventions for the team as a whole
* Lead on team reflective practise sessions but also other creative activities for the team to aid reflection, insight, and best practise.
* To ensure recovery focused support plans are reviewed, evaluated, and amended in accordance with changing needs, presenting risks and individual preferences to promote recovery with an attitude of 'positive risk taking'.
* To provide recovery focused support to achieve personal goals/aspirations in partnership with service-users, family members and statutory agencies. To work with service-users on a one-to-one basis to achieve positive outcomes within a given service timeframe.
* Provide structured support and guidance to other front-line staff in their area of expertise, building capacity and skills within the team, and contribute to the relevant internal specialist forum.

Director

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader, with a passion for giving children the best possible start and with a strong belief in the power of communities. The role will work both locally and nationally, as part of the wider team. 

The Director will manage our client’s existing programme in Redcar and Cleveland with a talented and committed team (10 staff). They will also develop and manage the new programme in Middlesbrough, currently in Discovery phase, and recruit a staff team of 8- 10 people, with support from the charity’s central team.  Once set up, the Director will lead the following across both areas: 

• Building relationships and networks in the areas, across the public, voluntary and private sector 

• Leading the team to support delivery of the charity's local early years strategy in the areas

• Leading the delivery of a portfolio of complementary workstreams, continuously refining and strengthening the work so that we make the greatest possible positive difference to local children and families

The Senior Officer- Executive Office plays a vital role in providing high-level strategic, operational and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is central to the smooth functioning of the CEO’s office, enabling the CEO to focus on leading the organisation effectively and with impact. The ideal candidate will be proactive, exceptionally organised, discreet, and able to anticipate needs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

In addition to supporting the CEO directly, the Senior Officer- Executive Office will also play a key role in facilitating the CEO’s engagement with the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. This includes contributing to strategic planning, project coordination, internal communications, and leadership governance processes.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a Senior Officer- Executive Office with strong experience supporting CEOs, senior leaders and Boards. You will be proactive and independent: an instinctive problem-solver with experience in designing and deploying easy-to-use systems and processes to support effective communication and project delivery within and beyond senior leadership, the Board, and wider team members.

You will support leadership to prioritise projects and tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment.  This role requires sound judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic and Project Management

• Assist the CEO in tracking strategic priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.

• Provide oversight of internal and external communications requiring the CEO's input or signature.

External Engagement and Relationship Management

• Work closely with the External Engagement team to support and enhance the CEO’s external profile, including media, public appearances, keynotes, and thought leadership opportunities.
• Manage and update the CEO’s social media handles (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter/X), in coordination with the Communications team, to reflect the strategic positioning of the organisation.
• Monitor media and public engagement metrics related to the CEO and propose content ideas aligned with organisational goals.
• Represent the CEO’s office in internal and external engagements with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Support the CEO’s participation in global forums, strategic partnerships, and high-level convenings.

Governance and Leadership Coordination

• In close collaboration with the Director of Operations and Finance, support the Board recruitment process, including conducting due diligence, managing conflict of interest declarations, and ensuring robust compliance and documentation.
• Lead the planning and coordination of induction and onboarding for new Board members, including the facilitation of any required training such as safeguarding, governance responsibilities, and organisational policies.
• Support the review and update of the organisation’s Articles of Association, working in liaison with legal counsel to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with organisational priorities
• Liaise with SLT members to ensure the effective delivery of Board and Committee meetings, including preparing high-quality papers and presentations, maintaining records, tracking actions, and supporting timely follow-up.
• Provide executive support to the CEO, including coordinating AMT, SLT and Board meetings, minute-taking, managing follow-ups, and ensuring team-wide communication flows smoothly.

Executive Support

• Act as both a gatekeeper and gateway to the CEO, exercising sound judgment in managing access and prioritising engagements, while nurturing trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, efficiency, and strategic connectivity.
• Ensure the CEO is well-prepared for meetings by providing timely and accurate briefings, agendas,  relevant materials.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings, events, and engagements involving the CEO.
• Manage the CEO’s global travel, events and calendars.
• Manage CEO expenses and budget-related documentation and ensure accurate financial tracking for the CEO’s office.

Internal communications

• Lead on the delivery of internal communications to all team members, gathering inputs and updates from all teams and producing a regular internal staff newsletter
• Working with other teams, support the coordination and delivery of team-wide convenings and events.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

 Essential experience

• A minimum of 7 years extensive professional experience in a similar role working directly with a high-performing leadership team and Board.
• Significant experience managing Board and governance processes, documentation, and communication flows.
• Strong track record in internal communications processes for diverse, multi-cultural teams.
• Advanced level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Exceptional and demonstratable experience with or knowledge of project management tools/ software and management systems and procedures.

Though our award-winning campaigns, we use our influence to affect change for dogs and cats within and beyond our gates; building Battersea’s reputation on a national and international scale. Our work involves everything from innovative integrated advertising campaigns to rehome our animals, to supporting other departments with their strategic objectives. We also manage Battersea’s online communities, offer brand guidance, deliver innovative digital activity, and manage internal communications, ensuring that staff and volunteers stay informed and engaged. The department’s ultimate goal is to raise awareness of Battersea’s work, so we can be here for more dogs and cats.

Digital team

Within the Marketing & Commercial department sits the Digital team. Responsible for Battersea’s digital output, our goal is to drive innovation and impact online. We manage Battersea’s website, and lead its digital products, campaigns and advertising - all to increase awareness of Battersea’s work and engage people with the need to support our dogs and cats.

Our hybrid working model:

We operate a 50% onsite hybrid working model, with our office-based staff splitting their time between site based and home working. This enables our office-based staff to balance the benefits of home working with onsite collaboration and maintaining a connection to our cause.
