We are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our small and dynamic team at Malaria No More UK.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our mission and make a difference. As a Business Support Officer/Administrator, you will provide general administrative support to the Operations team and assist the wider Malaria No More UK Team. Additionally, you will serve as the first point of contact for general enquiries and provide PA duties to the CEO and Leadership team. Join us and be part of our dedicated team working towards ending malaria for good.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Operations in varied administrative tasks and ad hoc projects.
- Provide PA support to the CEO and Leadership Team.
- Manage diaries and meeting bookings.
- Ensure everyone has the equipment or resources they need to carry out their work efficiently.
- Responsible for office supplies and facilities.
- Work with the Head of Operations to contribute to an efficient, pleasant and effective day to day office and team environment.
- Main point of contact for communications, telephone and organisation email.
- Assist the other teams with general support, mailouts (using Salesforce) and more.
- General administrative tasks for the organisation.
- Manage all team travel, domestic and international.

Qualifications, skills and experience
Essential
- Excellent IT skills, confident in using Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Databases.
- A demonstrably good level of numeracy and literacy.
- Experience working in a support role for a busy team.

How you will make a difference
As Business Development and Engagement Manager within the Workplace Mental Health & Training team, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, partnerships, and engagement from corporate and community settings for both Mental Health UK and Rethink Mental Illness. You will work to secure funding from a wide range of sources, including commercial activity, public sector contracts and grant funding, to allow our work to continue and grow.
Working in our National Programmes team, you will ensure that we evaluate, plan for and respond effectively to bids and tenders, lead on the development of proposals, and support service delivery teams in implementing successful tenders/proposals. You will manage a Senior Business Development Officer who supports our work in positioning the organisation to respond to new bids and tenders and, where required, support the implementation of new services.

The role
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support our CEO and COO. As a finance professional you will use your expertise to further support the RCR by delivering the organisations financial objectives and build strong working relationships with managers to equip them with the tools to make good financial decisions. Chapter One is a small but growing charity with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive. Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most. Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who are working professionals. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

The AHM will support the development and implementation of new systems and processes and provide guidance on Housing policies and procedures. This role will work closely with the finance team to manage rental income and invoice payment.
The role holder will deputise in the absence of the Housing Manager.

Overview / purpose of the role
We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Assistant who is interested in developing a career in bookkeeping and/or accountancy within the nonprofit sector. No previous experience is required, just lots of passion and a motivation to pursue a long-term career in charity finance. The Finance & Operations Assistant is a central resource within CGP, working with colleagues in the Operations Team, and across the organisation to provide financial and operational support to all areas of our work. They will work closely with the Head of Operations & Evaluation to process invoices, expenses and conduct weekly payment runs, ensuring that all financial policies and procedures are carefully adhered to. They will also support colleagues to follow our financial policies and processes and act as the first point of contact for any questions on these procedures. Additionally, they will provide general administrative and operational support to colleagues as outlined in the below job description.

Responsibilities
Finance
● Managing our accounts payable inbox, monitoring all incoming invoices and following up with team members on any missing information if required
● Processing and coding invoices in Xero accounting software ahead of weekly payment runs
● Checking that correct coding and approval procedures are followed for staff expenses in Soldo
● Conducting weekly payment runs via our online banking system
● Coordinating our monthly payroll processes (working with external providers)
