The Role

As FareShare continues to build broad and successful partnerships with key food suppliers across the UK, the Impact Reporting Officer will play a vital role in managing data and effectively demonstrating our impact to the food industry. This position is central to achieving our mission of saving usable surplus food and feeding communities.

This role is a reporting and systems lead, providing administrative and analytical support to the Food Team with a primary focus on consolidating and managing food volume data. Demonstrating to companies the difference their food makes  in an informative and engaging way is a key driver of continued support and motivation for the food industry. We seek a fast learner who can engage across various internal systems, including FareShare’s national WMS, Power BI, and our CRM Salesforce.

Working closely with the Food Team, the role will extract and manipulate data from our systems, presenting it meaningfully in reports and updates for our key food partners. Additionally, this role will collaborate with FareShare’s in-house technology department (The Info Centre) to champion and support the maintenance and accuracy of systems used within the Food Team, ensuring account records are up-to-date, and live reporting is both accurate and beneficial to account managers while adhering to GDPR policies.

This role will champion the further embedded usage of our CRM system (Salesforce) to better manage multifaceted relationships with our partners across the food industry. Having a clear and aligned view of the relationships across the industry is central to our ability to achieve our ambitions in partnership excellence. This role will both support the teams in keeping the CRM accurate and work with the Info Centre in suggesting and implementing builds and developments to the CRM that enhance our ability to successfully track and monitor key relationships.

Alongside the ownership of our impact data, this role will also contribute to cross-departmental data analytics projects and support the Marketing team to gather qualitative impact stories. Across both qualitative and quantitative impact data, this role will look to translate all of this into meaningful insights for companies that highlight FareShare’s work and ultimately help to deliver more food for those that need it.

Main areas of responsibility

Impact Reporting

• Design, build and implement impact reporting activities across the Food Team, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with key partner joint partnership plans
• Develop and implement best practices for impact reporting to effectively communicate the difference made by partners’ food .
• Support the gathering of qualitative impact stories, working collaboratively with charity partners and individuals to compile compelling narratives.
• Bridge the gap between qualitative and quantitative impact data, translating both into meaningful insights that resonate with key stakeholders.
• Develop content that effectively communicates the broader impact of our initiatives to both corporate and charity partners.

Data Analysis and Insights

• Provide comprehensive reports and analyses on food partner volumes, aiding Commercial Manager presentations and reports to food partners, including Tesco reporting requests.
• Utilise analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from various internal systems, contributing to informed decision-making and strategy formulation (including where possible providing data to marketing team and to support commercial decisions across the procurement team).
• Collaborate with Commercial Managers to support data gathering for monthly reporting and quarterly/annual forecasting and targeting.
• Contribute to cross-departmental projects and discussions as the Food Team data lead

CRM System Enhancement

• Champion the embedded usage of the CRM system (Salesforce) to enhance relationship management with partners in the food industry.
• Collaborate with the Info Centre to suggest and implement CRM builds and developments that improve tracking, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.
• Provide hands-on support to the Food Team in improving the effective use of Salesforce, ensuring all team members are proficient in utilising its features.
• Work collaboratively to identify opportunities for CRM optimisation and efficiency gains in managing partner relationships.
• Support in the ongoing assessment of the Partnership Excellence pillar using our CRM

Food Data Accuracy

• Support the maintenance and accuracy of our food volume data across visualisation tools like Power BI, including full ownership of the food team Power BI report.
• Collaborate with the Info Centre to streamline processes related to live reporting, ensuring accuracy and relevance for account managers.

Troubleshooting, System Support and Training

• Work closely with the Food Team to understand how systems, including CRM and Power BI, are utilised for decision-making, strategic planning, and day-to-day operations.
• Offer troubleshooting support, identifying and resolving issues related to system usage and data management.
• Support in the delivery of training on existing systems with the ambition of building a stronger data culture across the Food Team and wider organisation

The role

This role will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network.

For designated top food partners, you will be their day to day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels. You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them.

You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.

You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.

Main areas of responsibility

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources.
• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and
• agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution.
• Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.
• Research and understand your accounts, including key ESG initiatives, waste streams, key personnel within the organisation that will help drive its success and engage the relevant internal departments through both desked based research and face to face contact.

Start Network is an independent charity made up of more than 80 aid agency members across five continents, including international, national and local organisations who aim to deliver more effective emergency aid, harnessing the power and knowledge of the network to make faster and better decisions to help people affected by crises. 

The Start Platform maintains a strong relationship with Save the Children as the grant custodian of many of the Start Network's programmes, so whilst you'll be embedded within the finance team at Save the Children UK in this role, you'll be playing a key role dedicated to the Start Network.

As Finance Business Partner, you will support and drive the business areas you partner with, including Start Funds and Risk Financing, in maximising impact for children through delivery of effective and efficient financial performance and awards management.

In this role, you will: 

• Provide strategic and financial decision support to your assigned team within Global Programmes to underpin strong financial performance

About the Role

MSI is in the process of rolling out a Global Data Warehouse (GDW) using the Microsoft Modern Data Warehouse (MDW) suite of applications, principally Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Power Apps and Power BI. The aim is to produce a single repository of global data, and to improve & modernise MSI’s reporting, ensuring it is fit for both Global Head Office and the Country Programmes’ strategies and operating models.

This is a 12-month fixed term role to act as a technical expert within the BI Reporting team on the GDW project. The successful candidate will report into the Project’s technical lead assisting with the design, development and delivery of requirements as prioritised by the Project Board.

Elders Voice is an established and trusted charity in the heart of Kensal Green. The CEO will need to embrace our aims and lead the EV team to provide services based on holistic, long-term, high-quality relationships and to ensure that older people shape development of our services. In this difficult economic environment, we need to explore new funding opportunities and transition away from a reliance on local authority funding.

About the role

As an Assistant People Business Partner, you’ll support and drive change and people management initiatives, collaborate with subject matter experts to help support delivering the British Heart Foundation (BHF) strategy.

You’ll have business partnering responsibility for Finance, Risk Planning & Legal and will support and assist the wider BP team with the Technology and Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement (MFE) directorates. 

Striving for excellence, you’ll bring insight and provide operational support. You’ll be involved in Workforce Planning, Employee Engagement, Talent Management, Performance Management, and key Recruitment in specific areas of the business.

Establishing effective relationships with Business Leaders and specialists, you’ll provide valued interventions and insights on strategies to achieve business objectives and will be able to effectively analyse and present data in an engaging manner.

Working arrangements
 
Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.
 
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

About you 

CIPD qualified, ideally Level 5+, or equivalent experience, you’ll have senior HR or Business Partnering experience and excellent communication, coaching and relationship building skills.

Able to drive and implement plans effectively to required timescales, you’ll be results oriented and able to take the initiative and ownership to get the job done. You’ll have the vision and intellectual capability to understand the environment in which the BHF is operating and will be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships, both within the BHF and with relevant external partners.

About You:
To be successful, you'll need:

• Completed a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
