Kinship is seeking to recruit an experienced individual to provide a range of coordination and administrative support to our development team as part of Kinship Carer Training and Support Service, funded by the Department for Education.
What you'll be doing:

Supporting the Development team to engage Local Authorities and other strategic partners in Kinship’s work

Using our CRM database – Salesforce – to collect and manage data, analyse the effectiveness of work, identify trends, and support work planning

Collaborating with colleagues in Development and Marketing teams to execute our communications plan for partners e.g. diarising e-mail newsletters, collating content.

The purpose of the role
The People Team provide advice, guidance and support to all National Theatre staff, line managers and senior leaders on people policies; terms and conditions of employment; recruitment and selection; performance management; staff engagement; diversity and inclusion; trade union and employee relations; discipline, grievance, and capability processes; and training and career development. ISEAL supports sustainability standards and similar market-based sustainability systems to improve their impacts on people and planet. ISEAL’s Credibility Principles and Codes of Good Practice are used globally to guide the development of credible sustainability systems and to evaluate the credibility of sustainability claims. Our Innovations workstreams explore and pilot new solutions to operational and strategic challenges sustainability standards face. The position will be critical to the coordination of projects and engagement with ISEAL members on system innovation working on sustainability topics such as farmer livelihoods, sustainable landscapes, and the bio-economy. Specific project assignments will change over time as our project portfolio evolves.
ISEAL is co-creating knowledge and content, often working on topics where good practice and solutions have not yet been identified. Project support
- Contribute to outreach to project stakeholders, Community Members, partners & event attendees, answering and directing queries and scheduling appointments and virtual/ in-person meetings
- Organise meeting logistics, agenda preparation, notetaking, audio recording and the tracking and implementation of follow up actions and communications
- Carry out background research, review documents, and gather and analyse information using templates and tools such as Excel
- Coordinate project processes, including implementing procurement procedures, drafting contracts with consultants (based on ISEAL templates) and maintaining project-related systems
- Maintain web pages related to event and programme activities and support email and social media campaigns; upload blogs, documents, and resources

Essential attributes, skills & knowledge
- Experience working in a project or stakeholder commnications role, in a highly collaborative environment such as an international NGO
- Understanding of sustainability systems and how they work to help deliver change on sustainability issues
- Experience and comfort working with subject matter of a niche or specialist nature, possibly gained through data analysis, project communications, and/or the review and analysis of data sets, academic research, technical reports, and policy documents
- Strong organisational skills, and experience with administration, meeting coordination, logistics, contracts, budget tracking, etc.
- Confidence in communications with peers and external partners, comfortable in public speaking situations (e.g. webinars, workshops etc)
- Good time management and ability to organise multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently with precision and strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English, with proven ability to write clearly and concisely on a range of topics

The Actors’ Benevolent Fund supports professional actors and stage managers in times of need, and in 2022 we spent over £1.6M on charitable support. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, organisation and delivery of Picker's programme of events. This will include two in-person conferences with attendees from across the United Kingdom as well as regular online events during the year. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective planning and delivery. You will also be responsible for the planning of Picker's presence at sponsored events and exhibitions, working with colleagues from across the organisation to ensure that the Group are appropriately represented and present a credible and compelling offer.

About the Foundation:
The Avicenna Foundation was set up in 2023 to to support outstanding young British Muslims by providing them with scholarships for their undergraduate degree. The scholarships are mainly focused on awarding scholarships in the Social Sciences and Humanities for those interested in politics, policy-making and becoming agents of positive change.
Alongside the scholarship, the Avicenna Foundation runs a development programme for the scholars to expand their skills and abilities in various areas like leadership, communication and collaboration.
The Foundation has developed immensely in the first year with the launch of the charity; onboarding of it’s first cohort of 30 scholars and the development of a leadership programme. It now needs propelling into the next stage as the charity develops to ensure a robust charity structure and programme in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the charity, and manage changes required within programmes and activities as a result of changing external landscapes or contexts.
- Implement strategies for advertising the scholarships, receiving and reviewing applications, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and making final selection decisions. Some of these things are already in place and may need reviewing and enhancing.
- Work with the Scholar Development Coordinator to oversee the leadership development programme, provide guidance and help the programme to grow.
- Maintain regular communication with the scholars, their progress, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Ensure programme objectives and outcomes align with the overall strategy and aims of the Foundation, and are realistic and achievable within timeframes and budgets.
- Organise any events, programmes necessary to the scholars.
- Use data to track progress and drive improvement; proactively manage risks; and ensure effective use of the Foundation’s resources and budgets allocated to you.
Governance:
- Provide leadership and guidance to achieve consistency of governance across all of the Foundation’s activities, from development, delivery, measurement and evaluation and reporting perspectives.
- Regular communication and updates to the board, prepare board papers and contribute to Trustee meetings as required.
- Create, maintain and ensure continued adoption of governance frameworks, policies and templates.

- Work with educational partners to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the scholarship programme
- Leverage messaging and networks to positively impact the growth and reputation of the Foundation.
- Strengthen our brand reputation to maximise our impact and reach.
- Help identify, create and develop meaningful opportunities for the young people the Foundation works with.
- Establish an alumni network and support continuous professional development for alumni.
- Produce briefings and critical information for internal and external stakeholders, and review reports, submissions, and letters where appropriate.

About the opportunity

Duties and responsibilities
· Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face.
