We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our team to account manage a portfolio of partners and support our largest partnerships, ensuring excellence in relationship management to the highest standard. This is a key role within the Corporate Partnerships team, working collaboratively across the organisation. This role will help support the Partnerships Team achieve its income targets by providing high quality support for current partners, partner engagement and excellent stewardship. This role will manage a portfolio of partners to help implement the Corporate Partnerships fundraising plan and increase sustainable net income for Cats Protection as well as support the Corporate Partnerships team in developing new corporate partnerships and develop existing partnerships.
Responsibilities of our Corporate Partnerships Officer:
As Corporate Partnerships Officer you will help identify, research and cultivate relationships with existing partners and to help implement the corporate partnerships fundraising plan, aligned with the wider fundraising strategy.
You will hold responsibility for managing a portfolio of partners providing cultivation and engagement strategies which maximise their lifetime value, using corporate fundraising techniques and support the development of creative and compelling proposals for existing partners and develop inspiring and engaging communications.
You will support the Corporate Partnerships team with larger accounts and projects and the transition of new business accounts to the account management team, liaise with volunteer branches and centres in the implementation of national partnerships, manage the administration and marketing of Payroll Giving and keep concise records of partnership projects on the central database.
What we’re looking for in our Corporate Partnerships Officer:

Our team in Energy Saving Trust manages the national Home Energy Scotland service on behalf of the Scottish Government. As Project Support Officer you will support the Northern Area Manager and Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training (such as DBS, references, Food Safety Level 2, First Aid), giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our Yorkshire & The Humber projects to aid development and growth within the region.
Our projects are run by volunteers and supported by Regional Managers, through recruitment and training of volunteers. Your role will be to support the Regional Manager so that they can manage more projects, along with supporting the Regional Manager with expansion plans within their areas. This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, and recruiting new volunteers for the region.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to talk confidently to external people about our Projects. You will also be a good organizer, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within multiple Projects. You will have a passion for food and cooking, and be committed to our objectives and ethics.
The role will require attendance at our Community Meals projects in Leeds, Sheffield, Hull and Bradford, with occasional evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.
Benefits: We offer 26.5 working days (this includes 3.5 days for the Christmas close down) plus additional holiday for length of service, up to a maximum of 30 days (pro-rata for part-time). We have an exciting opportunity for a Part time Bid Officer to join our team, to work within our support services, to provide administrative and bid support to the Service Design and Development (SDD) team. The successful candidate will support the team to submit high quality bids to retain and expand our services.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of working in a Business Development team including good knowledge of the tender process.

Raising Futures Kenya is an award-winning small UK charity, working closely alongside a wonderful partner NGO in Kenya to deliver a hugely successful vocational training and business skills programme called Seed of Hope.
Since 2002 Seed of Hope has supported over 4,000 disadvantaged young people aged 14-25 in Kenya with the opportunity to learn a skilled trade, computer skills and business skills. Many of these young people are unable to finish their formal education as they are experiencing poverty, so our courses are completely free, to ensure no-one is excluded from the opportunity to learn.

We are looking for a talented storyteller and writer to join our small team in the UK and create exceptional content. You’ll support with crafting engaging funding applications, which stand out from the crowd and capture the funders hearts. You’ll create bright and positive social media and blog posts to share the uplifting stories of students and graduates from Seed of Hope and grow our online supporter base, in turn increasing our donors.
We don’t mind if you don’t have charity experience, we’re willing to train you and show you what we do. We are looking for someone who can write excellent content and showcase what we do.
Hours: 14 hours per week, to be worked as either full 7 hour days, or spreading the hours across the week. Regular days and hours to be agreed in advance.
Salary: £28,000 (pro-rata for 14 hours a week)
Pension: 3% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution (opt-out available).
Contract: 1 year fixed term contract. With a view to making it permanent if resources allow.
Base: The role will be home-based and require your own computer. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, expenses will be paid in accordance with our Expenses Policy. Our other 2 part-time staff are based in Sussex, but you can be anywhere in the UK. You must have the right to work in the UK.
