Job description

The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

The Opportunity

Working with the Strategic Business Partnering team and the Executive Director, People and Culture, the role will be responsible for managing the entire cycle of complex workforce analytics towards workforce planning, operational execution, and organisational design and effectiveness. The role will access various sources to gather, analyse and communicate workforce information and interpretations, for PII with approximately 10,000 global staff, and support effective workforce planning and facilitate better decision making.

About You

Whilst a background in HR is preferred, it is not imperative for this role. A dedicated problem solver, you deploy strong critical and analytical skills and experience in statistical analysis and data mining to deliver fast and reliable data analysis and reports.

This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with people at all levels and across different functions quickly and credibly. Excellent attention to detail with an accurate, thorough and reliable approach and the ability to plan and prioritise varied workload within tight deadlines is essential.

Location: Flexible where Plan International has a legal entity and the applicant has the pre-existing right to work and live. Those locations closest to the point of impact are preferred.

Type of Role: Permanent

Reports to: Strategic HR Business Partner

Salary: We will be happy to disclose the salary and applicable benefits to applicants as part of this process, however, please kindly note that this will vary according to the location of the appointed candidate and therefore it is not possible to include full details here. As an indication if this role was based in the Global Hub office in the UK the salary range would be circa £45000 per annum

Closing Date: Monday 26th July
