Role Summary
This role will support the expanding Fundraising & Engagement team with all fundraising activities to ensure that good relationships are maintained with all Alcohol Change UK (ACUK) supporters. The Fundraising and Engagement Assistant will undertake the financial administration and recording of all fundraising income as well as being the first point of contact for the team ensuring ACUK delivers high levels of supporter care.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Fundraising
-
Coordinating ACUK’s CRM system (ThankQ) and ensuring data accuracy including:
- New donor details, communications with supporters, gift aid and consent purposes
- Championing data cleansing and monthly de-duping of contacts
-
Coordinating all general fundraising enquiries including phone calls, fundraising & engagement email inboxes (providing holiday cover for the training & consultancy inbox) and post.

Coordinating lead generation from third party challenge event companies and converting leads into participants

Coordinating fundraising resources and merchandise including;
- Sending out materials to supporters
- Compiling fulfilment reports from online shop and sending over to fulfilment agency
- Monitoring stock levels of fundraising materials and shop merchandise

Maintaining up to date filing systems

Supporting with research for Trusts & Foundation applications

Processing all physical (cash and cheques) and online donations received in accordance with ACUK’s cash handling procedures, including;
- Counting and processing cheques/cash
- Logging all donations on a central post sheet
- Processing and reporting on all donations received through the ACUK website and all third-party platforms
- Ensuring all donors are thanked in a timely manner in line with their communication preferences
- Importing all donation data to ThankQ
Engagement programme

Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from our volunteers (Community Champions) and, alongside the Fundraising & Engagement Manager, steward our volunteers including the coordination of volunteer activities.

Identify opportunities for supporters of different types to discover new ways to engage with them (for example helping donors become campaigners or encouraging cultural change activists to become community fundraisers, etc).
Cross-organisational Role

Work closely with colleagues across the charity to support their work and to act as ‘one team’.

The role – what’s involved?
We’re looking for a resourceful and strategic Internal Communication Specialist to take a leading role in championing and developing internal communications. You’ll be adept at building and nurturing strong collaborative relationships and act as a trusted advisor to people across all levels, teams and geographical regions. This Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation (LME) Specialist is a key role for AmplifyChange. The person is responsible for measuring the impact of AmplifyChange’s work for internal and external use. The LME Specialist works closely with the senior management team, across AmplifyChange teams and with external consultants on implementing and contributing to the learning, monitoring and evaluation aspects of our strategy. The LME Specialist will have the skills to measure the impact of advocacy work of sexual and reproductive health and rights - both long-term impact and intermediate outcomes. The role has responsibility for preparing monitoring and impact reports for AmplifyChange’s leadership team, board and external stakeholders. The postholder will prepare, analyse and approve the organisation’s regular use of high-quality data – both qualitative and quantitative - and support grantee partners’ reporting processes. The role plays an important part in monitoring the overall grants portfolio and informing the learning agenda of AmplifyChange. Finally, the role also plays a key part in the grant application moderation rounds.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring the impact of AmplifyChange
• Producing a range of regular reports based on data analysis including on AmplifyChange metrics and results framework across our three delivery streams (which are grant making, organisational strengthening and building mutual support in the movement), as well as case studies from the grants portfolio
• Developing and monitoring the results framework for the strategy for 2026-2030
• Analysing indicators, milestones, and other quantitative and qualitative data collected from grantee partners. Compiling data and generating aggregate results for internal and external purposes as needed
• Developing a framework for long-term impact, and for intermediate outcomes, to describe and measure the results of AmplifyChange’s support to grantees
• Extracting and analysing grantee progress reports to report on AmplifyChange’s overall progress against each core indicator in the results framework
• Commissioning external evaluators to support the independent impact analysis
• Developing and analysing grant application data and other feedback mechanisms continuously to improve AmplifyChange support of grantee partners and collaboration with the Head of Grant Making
Governance and decision-making
• Preparing and contributing to the development of decision-making papers and impact updates for our Board
• Responding to donor and board data requirements as requested, outside of regular reporting schedules

REPORTING AND ORGANISATION
This is a full-time position at 37.5 hours per week, reporting to the Head of Learning, Impact and Partnership.
AmplifyChange is based in Bath and we operate on a hybrid working model with at least one day per week in the office. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered. Main Purpose:
Working as a senior specialist practitioner you will be leading the Hope intensive support team which is a peripatetic team, who will be providing support, multiagency advocacy, case management support, guidance for support workers and clients in our refuges who are multiply disadvantaged and require intensive, well planned and implemented support to recover from the abuse they have experienced and to remain safe from further domestic abuse and to address the additional disadvantages they experience which put their wellbeing and that of their children at further risk. The role includes completing and overseeing the case management for refuge clients and families who are within the top 20% in terms of vulnerability. This could stem from a multiplicity of intersecting circumstances or being severely vulnerable in one specific area or a mixture of both, bringing expertise in supporting people with mental ill health and you will be a source of ad hoc professional advice for refuge practitioners delivering support to those with mental ill health within the remaining refuge caseload.

6. Support the team and clients to assess their needs and aspirations, using a client centred, strengths-based approach in line with Safer Places values.
7. Ensure that in advance of weekly review meetings all practitioners and agencies that are working with the client have been invited to the meeting or to update the meeting.
8. Task and coordinate the work of the team for the following week and communicate to all involved including the senior practitioner or manager of the local case holder regarding the results of the review and actions for the next week.
9. Ensure clients are supported to make choices and access the services identified. This may involve advocating on behalf of your clients for their rights and needs to be met.
10. Ensure support is provided to clients and their children living in the accommodation in line with a structured plan that is driven by the risks posed to the client and the needs and preferences of the individual client, which is regularly reviewed with the client and line manager to ensure it reflects their current situation and priorities across the caseload, using mandated best practice tools.
11. Report on every case every week through a standard report to the Assistant Director and Director of operations identifying current issues and risks, progress made, next steps and the need for further support to enable the family to make progress against the goals the client has agreed within the plan such as escalation for more senior level advocacy with agencies, additional advocacy with agencies or commissioner involvement through the Director of operations to unlock barriers to progress e.g. .to ensure that a child is provided with a school place without delay, ensuring that a client does receive the mental health assessment required, or the debt management support required, in a timely manner and to ensure that all safeguarding responsibilities are being responded to by the relevant agencies without delay.

- Hold a clinical qualification or demonstrate equivalent experience in the mental health field.

The role of Triage and Early Interventions Officer (TEIO) is a fast paced one which requires the post holder to answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to victims of crime and those accessing the Affected By Crime (ABC) service in Humberside.

About the role:
Your role as a TEIO will be to answer and speak to incoming callers as well as to hold a caseload and make outgoing calls to those affected by crime. You will be the primary contact for the Hub across Humberside and will be the face of the service.

JOB PURPOSE
To inspire people with severe and enduring mental health conditions to progress and to gain and sustain paid employment and contribute to a thriving team and organisation.
The Employment Specialist (ES) role will work across and within the local Barnet or Haringey secondary care network. You will work to assist referred patients (clients) to find competitive and sustained employment. Around 25% of referrals will be to assist clients to remain in work if struggling, or return to work, if off sick.
Employment Specialists will follow the 8 principles of IPS, adhere to the IPS Fidelity Scale and achieve monthly targets and KPIs with the required administration and compliance.
You will need to be comfortable supporting people who have experienced / are experiencing serious mental health challenges, as well as possibly other serious difficulties in their lives. Although you will receive full training and support, it’s important you are aware of the potential impact this may have on your own mental wellbeing.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Engage a caseload of clients with serious mental health problems and establish trusting, collaborative relationships to support them into employment in line with contract targets and IPS fidelity.
2. Assess clients’ employment support needs; implementing and adjusting employment plans as necessary to support each client’s desired outcomes along IPS requirements.
3. Develop and deliver a range of practical services to meet clients’ needs including career guidance, job searching, CV preparation, interview skills, individual coping techniques or work coaching.
4. Build a constant flow of referrals to ensure a dynamic caseload.
5. Conduct weekly employer engagement activity in line with IPS Fidelity.
6. Understand the complex issues a client may face, recognise holistic support needs and work in conjunction with clinical staff.
7. Facilitate access to expert financial advice on welfare benefits and ‘access to work’ resources.

Harris Hill are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic organisation working for economic and social change, in their search for a Head of Business Development.
As Head of Business Development, you will lead the development and implementation of the Funding Strategy to secure sufficient income to underpin delivery of the organisational strategy.
You will lead on developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential income generation opportunities across a diverse range of funders, and lead on prospect research where you will identify and assess the viability of income generation opportunities.
You will directly manage relationships with trusts and foundations at all stages in the business development life cycle, from warming up to stewardship. You will also oversee stewardship of statutory other funders where relationships are held in service teams, coordinating key communications, monitoring and reporting cycles.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience of developing Funding Strategies, working collaboratively to shape priorities for new income in line with wider organisational strategic goals.
- Excellent track record in securing significant income from a range of sources, exceeding financial targets.
- Existing relationships with a range of funders, including experience of working with a range of trusts and foundations.
- Experience of all aspects of the business development lifecycle, from prospect research and matching income generation priorities to opportunities, managing an active pipeline, to responding to opportunities, monitoring and reporting.
