This exciting role sits within the marketing and partnerships team of the Digital, Marketing and Communications Directorate and will focus on reducing the gap between male and female participation in sport and physical activity by improving the way sport and physical activity are delivered to women and girls.
In this role, you will lead on the project management, delivery and evaluation of a portfolio of existing campaign activation projects. The projects all revolve around Sport England’s This Girl Can (TGC) campaign to build women and girls’ confidence to be active, regardless of shape, size and ability.

Your purpose
This year Voice 21 are recruiting to a newly formed Communications, Campaigns and Public Affairs department to help address these challenges. Overall purpose:
As Fundraising and Campaigns Marketing Manager in the Marketing & Communications team, you will drive Ben’s fundraising and commercial services with individuals and businesses within the automotive industry. There are no formal education requirements for this role. As long as you can show us that you have the skills we don’t mind where you got them from! The person who fills this role isn’t directly responsible for social media content, but our campaigners work closely with our Content and Mobilisation team, who manage our social channels, to ensure our content is cohesive and develops our use of content as a campaign tactic.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to manage an income-generating service, meet the strategic goals of the service, and identify advocacy opportunities towards our ambition for long term and systemic change.
You will be a collaborative and empathetic leader, with experience managing an operational service or team and generating income or managing budgets. You will have experience developing or delivering training and have some understanding of human rights law or the challenges faced by too many women and birthing people in maternity care in the UK.

This is a permanent role for up to 37.5 hours per week. Please note that the advertised salary may increase in line with an annual pay review in April 2024.
Our team is dispersed, meaning that within England you can work from home or any of our offices across the country. This is a full-time role but we are flexible with regards to hours and days worked. Occasional travel to our offices and other locations will be required.
This is a vital year for nature policy in England. Whether it is ensuring that nature is on the minds of people and politicians before the coming General Election; the reform and delivery of our planning and agricultural policy systems; or threats to nature from development in the wrong places, we need people to demand more ambition for nature from those in power.
The RSPB's mission is to save nature and wildlife, and to empower more people to play their part. In 2024 we want to be bolder and more influential in our campaigning than ever before. In this role, you’ll be a member of the small, friendly and impactful Policy and Advocacy Team within England working with colleagues from across the organisation and elsewhere to make this happen.
You will be:
- Coordinating, supporting and delivering a programme of public-facing, advocacy themed communications campaigns, including in relation to the forthcoming General Election to drive and empower public action for nature
- Working with cross-functional teams to deliver multi-channel campaigns
- Providing campaigns insight in policy and communications discussions
- Working with colleagues and coalitions to deliver national campaigns in collaboration with other organisations.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Proven expertise in creatively using varied communications techniques to engage wide audiences
- A proven willingness to try new and innovative campaign approaches
- A good understanding of politics and the mechanisms required to create change
- Experience of successfully working in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver campaigns
- Confidence in talking to people outside of the organisation and helping them to campaign too
- Being IT literate and able to build online campaign actions and emails
- An enthusiastic approach to work, and enjoying thriving in a small team!
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Knowledge of, and a passion for, nature, with ideally experience in speaking-up and encouraging others to act in its interests
- Creative design skills and experience of using graphics and other media to bring your campaign materials to life!

Community Fundraising Manager
The Mencap Community and Events Team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and passionate fundraiser, dedicated to raising as much funds as possible to help make the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability to join our team as Senior Community Fundraising Manager covering England and Wales.
Covering the England and Wales the Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for managing various income streams across the Community portfolio working closely with the wider team.
Within this role, you will achieve agreed fundraising targets through effective management, support and cultivation of both existing and new regional supporters including: individuals, groups, associations, local corporates and schools whilst maximising the current portfolio of Mencap owned products. You will research, identify and develop new community fundraising opportunities, areas of potential support and build a robust pipeline for restricted grants and corporate partners.
The role is home based. There will be travel around the areas that the role covers.
This position is a permanent, full-time role to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. The nature of community fundraising is that there will be evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given.
Key skills and requirements (essential):
· The ability to develop, implement and monitor strategic plans, present budgets and interpret financial information
· The ability to research, assess and initiate new opportunities within the context of an overall plan
· Able to recruit, develop and train, motivate and manage individuals and teams of Volunteers to give their very best
· Able to use interpersonal skills in order to engage effectively with others, understand what motivates them and respond appropriately
· Written communication skills and a high level of numeracy to be able to produce business plans, monthly reviews, press releases, letters, presentations and other similar documents
