What’s the one thing everyone can’t stand when they’re applying for jobs? The evenings spent on long, laborious applications when they could be having fun with friends, or just generally doing anything other than looking at a job application page – right??
Well, we’ve got good news for you – things are about to change.
Introducing… the new Easy Apply feature coming soon to CharityJob. Here’s a break-down of what Easy Apply is and how you can make the most of it.
With Easy Apply, you’ll be able to complete a job application in just one click. By pressing the Easy Apply button, you’ll send recruiters your CV and give them access to your CharityJob profile.
You’ll be able to save time AND apply for more jobs that are right for you. Including those jobs that you maybe-have-the-skills-for-but-you-aren’t-quite-sure-about-so-don’t-want-to-spend-a-week-applying-for. Because what’s the harm in giving it a go if it just takes one click?
Show your best self
But to get the best out of Easy Apply, you need to complete your CharityJob profile. You can do this really easily – not to mention when you upload a new CV, you have the option of letting this auto-fill some of your profile. That way, recruiters will be able to see exactly what you’ve got to offer with minimal effort on your part.
And remember, the more information you add to your profile, the easier it is for us to recommend jobs that you’d like to see. So it’s a win, win situation. Recruiters get to see everything that you have to offer and more jobs are able to find their way to you.
No cover letter – less stress
Just imagine, a world of job applications where you don’t have to spend hours agonising over a cover letter.
By making the most of the Easy Apply feature, you’ll be dramatically cutting down the time you spend on applications, and maximising your ‘you-time’ – what more could you ask for. It’s almost like we made it with you in mind…
Not to mention, this also gives you more time to focus on finding other opportunities or prepping for interviews.
But bear in mind that some recruiters specifically ask for a cover letter in their job specification. If that’s the case and it sounds like an opportunity you’d love, set some time aside for a cover letter. It’s all about making the best first impression possible!
In other news…
