The post-holder will work with patients to plan the support they need to be discharged home; to support voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations to respond to the needs of people returning home from hospital; and to raise awareness of the wide range of assets available in the VCSE sector that enable people to self–care or provide short-term support.
The Home First Support Worker will use a person-centred approach to support individuals preparing for discharge or recently discharged from Salford Royal Hospital who have been identified as needing additional support within their home and community. The post-holder will work with individuals and families as part of a Home First Community Hub multi-disciplinary team, as well as within the Salford CVS team.
The Home First Support Worker will build strong working relationships across the Home First multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and raise awareness of the wide range of activities and services available in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE) within the Home First Hub as well as the wider Salford Royal Hospital staff team. The post-holder will work pro-actively in partnership with a range of statutory and VCSE colleagues in the Home First MDT to ensure that the needs of individual patients are addressed wherever possible.
The Home First Support Worker will also work with the wider CVS team to map current community provision of activities or services (Age UK Salford, Helping Hands, and the Carers Service, for example) offering support for people to return home and become re-engaged within their community. They will also support a range of VCSE groups / organisations to develop services and activities that meet the needs of individuals.
The Home First Support Worker will be aligned to Salford’s flagship Wellbeing Matters programme, a partnership between Salford CVS and Salford Third Sector Consortium, and draw on existing knowledge from within the Community Connector and Development staff teams from the programme, working closely with that wider team at all times.

This roles focus is to build and maintain the existing project in Cornwall which has been running since 2018. You will work closely with Cornwall Council commissioners, service providers who delivery Supporting Families, Housing, Substance Recovery, Young People and DASV, as well as community organisations in the Cornwall Tempo network. The current contract focuses on Penzance, Newquay, Camborne/Pool/Redruth, and St Austell, but the project covers the whole county.
You will be a confident public speaker and presenter and will raise the profile of the Time Credits programmes in Cornwall and beyond. You will build relationships with key influencers and stakeholders in each locality to support the development and growth of the network to enable groups to access Tempo Time Credits to increase volunteering and engagement and improve health and wellbeing.

Role Description
As with any small charity, you'll get unique exposure and insight into most aspects of running a charity. You'll work closely alongside the team in Kenya to get to know the programmes and share the impact. Duties would include:
Fundraising

Responsible for leading and implementing the fundraising strategy and meeting the fundraising targets of the charity (c. £250,000 annually), mainly from grants and individuals.

Responsible for grant fundraising. We have a healthy pipeline of funders to apply to each year with a pool of current and warm funders. You will review our case for support quarterly or sooner if data changes. You will manage the application cycle, periodically researching new funders to add to it, updating deadline dates and funding requirements etc. You will be responsible for submitting applications to funders identified on the cycle and meeting the agreed income annual target.

Managing grant/funder relationships - including meeting with funders when appropriate, managing the reporting requirements and deadlines for all grants and researching new funding opportunities. The Fundraising Support Officer will lead on social media content, overseen by you. Manage budgets. The UK and Kenya budgets will be created by the CEO and Kenya Operations Director usually, and then approved by the Board. You will use these to create fundraising budgets for applications and contribute to future iterations of the budgets as required.

Track income and expenditure versus budget (in Xero), in order to prepare comprehensive budgets and accurate financial reporting for grants/funders.

Produce finance reports from Xero in order for the Treasurer to write finance reports for Board meetings, which may require insight from you on the source of income and likely future/pledged/secured income.

Oversee the impact of the work in Kenya by coordinating MEL data collection alongside the team in Kenya (using the agreed MEL calendar), analysing results (survey results collected using Google Forms which are then downloaded to a spreadsheet), creating twice yearly impact reports (based on findings from the data analysis), reports for funders and impact stories for use in communications with donors and supporters.

At The Bike Project we provide an innovative solution to one of the most pressing problems facing asylum seekers and refugees on arrival to the UK: access to transport when living on a limited income, which for asylum seekers is as little as £5.66 per day.
Our mission is simple: each year we match refugees and asylum seekers with the many thousands of bikes that go abandoned or unloved around the country. We then go on to support these new bike owners to realise the emotional, practical and physical benefits of cycling.
10 years since that first bike donation, we are about to donate our 10, 000th bike and have expanded the project to include multiple programs, from refugee befriending services to women-only cycling classes.
We have supported tens of thousands of refugees to get access to bikes, learn to cycle and created a community of colleagues, refugees, volunteers and supporters. And we’ve grown rapidly in the last few years, from £720k turnover in 2018, to £2.2m turnover in 2021
Despite our successes, this is just the start. The demand from refugees for our work far outstrips our ability to meet it so we are looking to continue to grow until every refugee in the UK has the opportunity to start cycling.

We are in the midst of a large transformation project, adopting a cloud-first approach to our core business systems. You will be joining the Business Systems team focused on improving the core systems that support our team, customers and partners. The team draws on a mix of skills and backgrounds including business analysis, agile project management and software-specific knowledge.
We are looking for a new member of the team to drive the development of our Sharepoint, Teams and other core Office 365 collaboration tools. The role will also provide-cross cutting support to the team and there will be opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in other systems including our core Salesforce CRM.
We are looking for someone with good experience and familiarity of Office 365, particularly Sharepoint and Teams. Most importantly we need someone who can identify improvements to our ways of working and translate requirements of non-technical users into effective solutions that use 365 tools. The role will also include end-user training and troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities
1. Work with our Head of Systems Improvement to ensure that we are using Sharepoint, Teams and other 365 tools to support our core business processes.
2. Lead the day-to-day development of our sharepoint site into a user-friendly intranet and collaboration platform.
3. To oversee a training programme for our team on core business systems, including managing some end-user training and producing videos and supporting materials.
4. Working closely with our delivery teams to enable them to define core end to end processes and introduce regular reviews for continual improvement.
