Key Tasks

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all high value fundraising activity, including proposals, applications, and donor interactions, and be able to regularly report this activity back to the Head of Philanthropy.

Manage a portfolio of low-mid level prospects and existing donors, developing clear strategies to cultivate relationships and secure continued philanthropic support of £1,000 to £10,000. Ensure the upkeep of a database and filing system for all existing and prospective donors within High Value Giving liaising with the Finance and Administrative team to ensure reconciliation with financial record.

Work closely with the Philanthropy team and other colleagues to maximise all opportunities and support a dynamic, successful, and professional team

Research and evaluate new funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and other grant funders, maintaining a 12-month funding calendar.

This Senior Project Officer role sits in our Innovation and Practice Function. You will also assist the Engagement & Communications department with ongoing outreach projects, by contributing to periodic fundraising fulfilment tasks related to appeals mailings, and by supporting outward-bound telephone campaign tasks.
