The College Centre for Quality Improvement (CCQI) works with mental health services to assess and improve the quality of care they provide. We work with more than 90% of mental health service providers in the UK and focus on five key areas: quality and accreditation networks, national clinical audits, multi-source feedback tools, invited reviews and research and evaluation.
The Centre Manager will manage the central administrative functions of the CCQI. They will support the work of the Director, Clinical and Strategic Directors and the Chair and Deputy Chair of the Combined Committee for Accreditation and provide project management input to the development of new workstreams.
The successful candidate will oversee the department’s membership database and invoicing, working closely with the Finance team. They will also provide support to the College’s Quality Improvement Committee.

You will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women from aged 16. You will primarily work with low-medium risk clients. Holding a caseload of survivors, you will also be required to work as part of Advance’s duty system on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.
About You:
To be a Domestic Abuse Caseworker you will:
Have a thorough understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic violence and its impact on women, children, families and communities. Experienced of supporting women who have experienced domestic violence, forced marriage or ‘honour’-based violence. Experience of crisis management and successfully managing a busy and complex caseload and experience of risk and needs assessment and safety and support planning, particularly with clients with complex/multiple needs.

ROLE PURPOSE
As our Executive Assistant (Maternity Cover, 0.8 FTE, Fixed term for 12 months), you will play a crucial role in developing and supporting our charity and strengthening our administration and governance. You will be providing flexible assistance primarily to our CEO, in the planning and delivery of their workload. You will also provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, Trustee Board and other structured groups which shape the charity’s strategy and activities, for example our Clinical Advisory Group. As such, you will have the opportunity to work with the entire Student Minds team and a variety of stakeholders across the health and higher education sectors.
Key responsibilities:
Chief Executive Officer assistance
- Email and calendar management: helping to prioritise demands, responding to correspondence on behalf of the CEO and following up with contacts post-meetings.
- Arrange meetings and itineraries and coordinate travel as required.
- Stakeholder management support: utilising CRM to maintain updated databases for organisational contacts; support with the completion of contracts and registering purchase orders with suppliers,where the CEO is the lead contact.
Meeting management
- Plan and coordinate relevant meetings to ensure they are purposeful and relevant. These will include Board meetings, Senior Leadership Team Meetings, Leadership Group meetings and any other general committee meetings.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for all meetings, arranging suitable meeting premises or software, preparing and circulating agendas and meeting papers in consultation with the relevant participants (e.g. Chair of the Board, CEO and Senior Leadership Team).
- Coordinate catering requirements and liaise with the finance team to make purchases.
- Take high-quality and accurate meeting minutes and circulate them for appropriate approval and sign-off.
- Ensure prompt follow-up with agreed action points and follow through with ongoing delivery of commitments.
Governance support
- Provide administrative support where applicable to meet the charity’s requirements with
- Companies House and the Charity Commission.
- Support with Trustee recruitment, induction and training.
- Support the charity’s continuous improvement and compliance using tools such as the Governance
- Code.
Senior Leadership Team coordination
- Support with coordinating multi-stakeholder meetings, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support members of the Senior Leadership Team or their guests with the use of our core systems and software (Google Workspace, Google Meet, Slack, Mural, Zoom).
- Process any travel expenses for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Manage charity records: provide historical reference by supporting procedures for the retention and disposal of records.
- Welcome guests and provide tours of facilities or support guests to use online meeting software where required.
Other duties
- Such other duties as may be reasonably prescribed by the organisation, appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of this post.
- Provide cover for other team members as necessary to ensure seamless operations and support across the organisation.

As a Senior Nurse you will be a team leader to a small group of nurses and HCAs (Play and Care Workers), taking responsibility for line management. You will lead your team in acting as key workers to a small caseload of service users and act in a link role allocated to the team, for example Infection Control or Clinical Audits. What the job involves
The Policy and Health Influencing teams are responsible for using clinical data and evidence to shape what the organisation thinks and to develop solutions that drive change for men with and at risk of prostate cancer. This means working with clinicians, patients and stakeholders to interpret the latest changes in prostate cancer research, care, support and treatment which will help shape our strategic direction and activities.
As the Policy and Health Influencing Coordinator, you're key to supporting these teams. You'll have a varied and far-reaching portfolio of work and sometimes arranging important stakeholder events and meetings ensuring we're hearing from people who've been through prostate cancer themselves. You'll also help share our work on social media and capturing the outcomes of our external engagement.
In this role you’ll assist us in keeping track of and evaluating our progress in line with our organisational strategy, as well as keeping an eye on trends in the wider cancer and health landscape and reporting on them. Plus, you'll handle budget matters and make sure we have effective budget monitoring mechanisms in place.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a Coordinator who is highly organised, an effective communicator and know how to adapt and effectively prioritise your time. You’ll have excellent coordination skills and can organise others too (especially teams which are based across the UK) and have experience of creating and updating forward planners, project schedules and streamlining team processes. The Royal College of Pathologists is seeking a Head of IT to lead the IT strategy and operational management of the IT function. The post holder will have a proven understanding of technology transformation and the opportunities this can provide for the College. The role will be responsible for shaping and executing the IT strategy to support the overall business objectives and strategic plans, while at the same time taking an active lead on the operational aspects of IT and AV support services. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Head of IT is a highly visible and leading role and will work closely with all departments and the Senior Management Team.
Currently embarked on an organisation-wide technology transformation project, this will be a primary initial focus with the aim of being more connected, efficient, and providing more effective member services. The Head of IT will be pivotal in ensuring delivery of technology driven aspects of the College wide project and future projects by horizon scanning for new technologies and ways of working that can continue to improve the College’s operations.
The role requires excellent personal communication skills, commitment to customer service and management expertise to lead a small team. Apart from the internal College projects and services, the IT and AV department provides event support for commercial events on site.
All of the College IT and AV services are supported via a service desk. The Head of IT is responsible for ensuring that daily operations run smoothly, and any issues identified are resolved swiftly and effectively. Responsibility and experience at a technical level for networks, IT security, AV systems as well as MS365 solutions is a pre-requisite. Being part of a small team, it is expected that the Head of IT will take a hands-on approach where required.

We are excited to be taking the lead in the London Whole Housing Service Partnership (LWHSP) which will address and enhance the pathways of housing support for women experiencing domestic abuse, from removing them from immediate harm, to enabling recovery and resettlement across all levels of need. The LWHSP are seeking to build on our delivery across 11 East and West London boroughs of the Whole Housing Approach (WHA).
The Housing IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will specialise in working with clients for whom housing, and risk of tenancy breakdown is a factor. You will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. You will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to work as part of Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.
About You:
As a Housing IDVA, you will need to have a degree of flexibility for colocation work across London boroughs; providing support to women who have experienced domestic violence, focusing on individuals with housing or tenancy issues. Working in our fast-paced crisis intervention, advocacy and support service, you’ll ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will have your own caseload of survivors and will focus on working with those aged 18 and over who access our domestic abuse service.
You will bring experience in providing independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women who approach housing advice and assessment for help. Ideally experience in working with housing service providers, and advising women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies. You will have the ability to develop individual safety and support plans in-line with the clients’ needs and the risks they face.

Central to our ethos is our belief that people with first-hand experience of successfully overcoming issues such as an offending background, homelessness, addictions and gang involvement, hold the key to positive change in others.
We have launched an ambitious new income generation strategy for 2023-2026 focused on 1) diversifying our income generation model and 2) increasing growth of voluntary income by 15% through restricted and unrestricted funding streams. This key role is essential to us realising this ambition with a focus on raising unrestricted income from a variety of income sources such as Trusts & Foundations, Fundraising Appeals, Challenge Events, Fundraising Events and Individual Giving.
About this exciting opportunity
Our successful candidate will develop and design high-quality applications, presentations, and pitches to secure multi-year unrestricted gifts from key supporters including Trusts, Foundations & Major Donors that support St Giles’ values & ethos. You will provide excellent stewardship to existing donors, including writing reports, arranging, planning and hosting visits for key stakeholders, and providing support to the Head of Voluntary Fundraising & Executive Director of Fundraising with reports, due diligence procedures and applications.
We will rely on you to work collaboratively to identify, plan and deliver local and national fundraising appeals, provide excellent stewardship to individual donors through the creation and implementation of quality donor journeys, and maintain promote, and diversify a small portfolio of challenge events our supporters can take part in. Providing line management, supervision and coaching to a Fundraising Assistant is also a key element of this role, as are contributing to refining processes and record-keeping to ensure that we are utilising database and systems to their maximum potential and contributing to the implementation of the income generation strategy.
What we are looking for
- Proven record of winning and/or managing a portfolio of grants, or relevant experience/transferable skills.
- Experience working with a CRM or fundraising database, preferably ETapestry.
- Experience of building supporter journeys for various audiences.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative ideas to help us stand out to our existing and new donors.
- Advanced IT skills – Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint (essential) Canva.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to write compelling and informative copy for reports, applications and external communications.
Please note this role requires a Standard DBS Check.

Da'aro Youth Project is looking for an experienced full-time caseworker to join our small team based in Streatham Hill, London. The successful candidate will work alongside young refugees, asylum seekers and other young migrants who are at risk or in crisis to ensure that they can access their statutory rights and make progress in their personal, social and educational development so that they can achieve their full potential. You will join our Casework Service which provides holistic casework, advice and practical support to young people aged 14 to 25 years, working closely with statutory and voluntary organisations to ensure that the immediate and longer-term needs of young people are met.
