About you and the role
The purpose of this role is to head up development of key partnerships and income streams that will ensure the charity remains financially sustainable and able to deliver our impact at scale. You will be responsible for the assessment of, and managing relationships with, all major new partners. You will be accountable for delivering on an ambitious income generation strategy, and for monitoring and effectively reporting our impact. You will ensure that our impact and the importance of our work is effectively communicated to potential new partners, working closely with the Head of Communications and supported by the Marketing Manager. You will work alongside the Chief Executive and the Head of Finance to develop annual plans and budgets and work closely with the Director of Transformation and School Engagement Manager to ensure projects are secured, fully funded and financially sustainable.
We’re looking for an experienced senior leader, with excellent communication skills, who has been involved in high-value fundraising. We’re looking for someone with genuine passion for our mission, who has the confidence to hit the ground running and articulate why what we’re doing is so important. You need to enjoy working collaboratively, we’re a team that works closely together and the success of this role will come from working very closely with your fellow Directors and the wider team.

Key responsibilities:
● Developing a comprehensive income generation and marketing strategy that supports the delivery of the charity’s objectives and activities
● Manage and maintain existing significant partnerships with key funders (trusts, corporates and major donors), identifying new opportunities to deepen and extend relationships where desirable
● Manage, support and mentor the Development team, leading on strategy and planning for the department to ensure that income generation targets for fundraising are achieved

● Lead on the development of our impact measurement strategy, strengthening our monitoring, evaluation and impact systems to ensure that we are effectively collecting data that demonstrates our impact

● Develop an effective marketing strategy to articulate our impact and the benefits of our programmes to potential new partners
● Working with the Director of Transformations to maintain a healthy sales pipeline of new school/ MAT partners, helping to identify and develop relationships

● Play a key role in preparing for and ensuring the smooth and effective running of the Strategy & Impact trustee sub-committee

Skills & experience:

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver an effective email CRM programme for ZSL and its Zoos (London Zoo and Whipsnade Zoo) across the broad range of audience groups (zoo visitors, donors, members, experience bookers, etc.). The aim is to continuously grow customer acquisition, engagement, value and loyalty as part of an overarching Supporter Journey that has the customer experience at its heart.
Your key responsibilities:
- Design and build on-brand email marketing campaigns from end to end. Including copywriting, building emails on Dotdigital, sending campaigns and manage A/B and MVP testing strategy to ensure continuous optimisation of email campaigns.
- Own the overall email campaign plan and delivery, working with audience owners across ZSL to manage email communications, providing guidance and best practice.
- Analyse and segment customer data and maximise this data to deliver effective targeted activity, managing the quality and frequency of messaging. Use this insight to identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling programmes.
- Develop and deliver customer data acquisition strategies and ensure all activity is GDPR compliant.
- Work with the Membership Marketing Manager to fully develop, deliver and manage an effective CRM programme for ZSL to build (automated) supporter journeys along the customer lifecycle, driving loyalty and growing the value of each customer and ROI from CRM activity.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Executive to track and analyse campaign results (engagement, conversion rates, web analytics, ROI) to produce regular reports on campaign performance, and continuously implement improvements based on findings.
- Develop strong working relationships with our Ticketing and Systems teams to understand and use Tessitura, our membership and donations CRM platform as well as ticketing and experiences data from SEE Tickets.
- Manage ZSL’s email service platform (currently Dotdigital) including being responsible for managing and maintaining the data within it to ensure that all customer data and communication is GDPR complaint, management of the ESP budget and management of the relationship with the ESP supplier.

About the role
Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.
You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).
The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team. Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.

You will be responsible for providing first line support surrounding use of the Imperial College Union (ICU) building and technology infrastructure, working closely with the digital systems function of the Union and College ICT to ensure that user issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Your role will act as a triage for incoming queries to the Systems team, resolving queries where possible and escalating to senior staff members and College ICT where appropriate. You will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of all Union spaces, promptly reporting defects, and arranging repair work as needed. They take ownership of shared spaces, including Activity and Meeting rooms, ensuring they are clean, organised, with suitable equipment in place and always ready for use. The role will also include undertaking essential maintenance, repair and improvement tasks to address minor issues or repairs. Reporting to the Facilities, Health & Safety Manager, and working closely with the Head of Digital & Marketing, the post holder will be a skilled user of IT with excellent customer service skills. They will be highly organised and process-driven, ready to learn new skills to assist the Union with service delivery.

Arts Emergency, a mentoring charity and support network aiming to address the inequalities in the creative and cultural sectors, is looking for an experienced and motivated fundraiser to provide leadership and management for fundraising activities.
Since 2013, Arts Emergency has been providing 16-25 year olds in London, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond with a trained mentor working in their field of interest. Mentors help Young Talent set goals, explore their passions and make decisions about higher education, training and careers. After they complete a year of mentoring, Young Talent can continue to access opportunities, advice, resources and paid work from the Arts Emergency Network until they turn 26.
