About LifeSkills
The LifeSkills programme will offer groups of families the chance to come together to a trusted venue such as a children’s centre or community setting. As well as offering opportunities for families to spend quality time together and have access to healthy food, these sessions will offer LifeSkills workshops for parents and carers to build their confidence, social networks, financial and employability skills. Examples include but are not limited to overcoming setbacks, managing debt, boosting confidence to return to work, CV writing, interview skills. The aims of the LifeSkills programme are to support participants to increase their confidence and 21st century skills, move closer to training/volunteering/employment, improve their social networks, and grow their confidence to provide low cost and nutritious meals.
The role involves delivering LifeSkills sessions to groups of families in the Greater Manchester area. The postholder will also be the main point of contact for delivery partners hosting programmes (e.g. small charities, schools) and staff and volunteers delivering sessions, and be expected to respond promptly to a wide range of queries and requests for support. Examples might include, for instance, devising LifeSkills programmes for different cohorts, presenting to potential partners, devising risk assessments, recording data, and visiting and providing guidance and support for staff and volunteers delivering sessions in venues across the country.

Key Responsibilities
Philanthropy Events
- Work closely with team members to organise and manage the logistics for our major and mid-level donor event programme, comprising around 4-5 events a year, including the Rooftop Summer Drinks Party and November Private Dinner.
- Event management will include liaising with venue managers and suppliers both in the run up and during the event
- Work with the Philanthropy Executive to project manage on cross-income stream events, including sponsored challenge events such as the Impetus Triathlon, and Christmas Celebration Drinks.
Events Communication
- Support the Philanthropy team in putting together relevant event-related comms to all donors as required

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Wellbeing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of children and young people attending our camps. They will assess the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children and young people attending camp to determine the support needed during the camp experience. They will work alongside volunteers and colleagues to implement support strategies at camp that meet these needs.
They must assess, respond to, and escalate safeguarding concerns. The successful candidate will be a registered Children's Nurse with experience in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) or a special interest in children's mental health. They will work closely with camp staff, healthcare professionals, and volunteers to create a nurturing environment that supports the diverse needs and will contribute, when appropriate to nursing / clinical knowledge to ensure a safe and effective service.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Over The Wall seeks an individual passionate about the well-being needs of children and young people who use our service. You will also be a qualified nurse and occasionally use your clinical knowledge and skills to support the OTW Nursing Team when necessary.
Knowledge and expertise:
- Apply the basic principles of child and adolescent development and theoretical knowledge to work with children, young people, and their families.
- Sensitively relate to children and families of diverse backgrounds.

- Maintain accurate, factual, and contemporaneous records of camper/family contacts and interactions.

About the opportunity
Critical to our mission, we are now looking to recruit a Programme Coordinator to oversee a caseload of partner schools in London. You will work closely with the schools and pupils and manage the pool of volunteer tutors by regularly attending weekly tutoring sessions, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.

Duties and responsibilities
· Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; regularly attending weekly face to face and online tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.
· Support the Action Tutoring Marketing Team with focused recruitment of volunteer tutors.
· Manage the tutor sign-up process to assign tutors to upcoming tutoring programmes, working with an Engagement Coordinator on local volunteer recruitment.
· Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers.
· Update and maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and end of programme surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators.
· Work with the London Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.
· Proactively report to the London Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring’s operations in your partner schools.

The Role
The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers.

8. To ensure excellent safeguarding practice, and always follow our Safeguarding Policy, reporting any Safeguarding incidents to the Designated Safeguarding Lead ad ensuring they are informed, and appropriate, timely action is taken.
9. To work with the Impact and Communications Manager to provide content (photos, videos, quotes, case studies) which is safe for and respectful of the young people we support, with the right permissions that can be used as part of communications to our supporters, on social media and as evidence of our work to funders.
10. Ensure activities in Brent are monitored and evaluated in line with the agreed protocols.
11. To build collaborative relationships with partners and referral organisations attending and organising partnership meetings as required.
