This role supports the development, management and optimisation of our Lottery and Regular Giving programmes through Face to Face fundraising. You’ll be working with our fantastic face to face fundraisers cultivating our relationships with our external agency partners as well as supporting training, day-to-day management and monitoring of third-party fundraisers.

About Future Frontiers
At Future Frontiers, we support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to realise their potential at school and achieve post-16 qualifications that build towards secure, fulfilling employment.
In partnership with schools, businesses and supporters, we deliver an evidence-based programme of career coaching and 1:1 guidance for young people when they are in Year 10 and 11. This year, we are working with 3,000 young people across Greater London.
Your responsibilities

About you
Experience
Managing relationships with trusts and foundations, or similar transferable skills from a sales/fundraising background (essential): Experience of applying to and stewarding trusts and foundations to secure 5+ figure gifts over multiple years, and/or similar experience of building relationships to meet income targets.
Identification and cultivation of new business (essential): Experience of independent research and cultivation to develop a pipeline of trusts and foundations, and/or similar experience of generating new business.

Missing People exists to ease the heartache experienced by those missing someone, and to help people who are away from home find their way back to safety. Our vision is for every missing child, adult and family left behind to find help, hope and a safe way to reconnect. We coordinate a UK-wide network of people, businesses and media to join the search for the estimated 170,000 people who go missing each year.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play an integral role in planning and delivering our flagship annual Night of Light Gala, working closely with our Event Lead and the rest of the Philanthropy Team on this dazzling event. Our Gala raised approximately £300K of vital funds in 2023. You will work with some amazing suppliers, high profile people, volunteers and supporters on this, and other events. You will get to support third-party events, including Golf Days and challenges, and special events like our 8-Hour cycle challenge round Brands Hatch for 20 teams of four in September, as well as any new events for our philanthropists to deliver vital income, and inspire our supporters to grow and repeat their events, each year.
You will also provide essential research and administration support to help prospect and steward incredible high-level supporters and our Fundraising Board of volunteers.
ABOUT YOU
Do you want to use your experience in Events and your organisational skills to ensure Missing People’s events and challenges delight participants and raise vital funds for the charity?
You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise as you will be working on several projects concurrently. You will be responsible for reaching out to some of our most important supporters and will be confident in communicating with a diverse people such as executives, high net worth individuals and people affected by the issue of missing.
You will have experience of:
• Planning and delivering events.
• Writing impactful communications such as letters, emails, or newsletters
• Strong administration
You will also have:
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Outstanding communication skills suited to diverse audiences such as executives, high net worth individuals and community leaders.

Deptford X is looking to appoint a General Manager to join Deptford X alongside our next Director and work in tandem to lead the organisation into its next phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management of Deptford X and the delivery and development of its ambitious festival and programmes
About Deptford X
Deptford X is a visual arts charity based in Deptford, South East London, we foster artistic talent and nurture community within the borough of Lewisham and beyond. We achieve this through a free festival in Deptford, working with hundreds of artists to locate art at the centre of everyday life for all of the area’s communities, and ongoing activity supporting artists and our local communities year-round. Founded in 1998, Deptford X is London’s longest-running visual arts festival.
This is a crucial and exciting time to join Deptford X; in 2023 the organisation turned 25 and also became an Arts Council England NPO. We are exploring moving to a biennial model and creating more space for deeper engagement and networked working. There is scope for the new General Manager to being their own vision and networks to the organisation and to take it into the next quarter century in a way that is sustainable, accessible, diverse and relevant.
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone with experience of managing organisational operations and team members, preferably with an integrated approach to access and diversity, and an understanding and knowledge of financial development strategies. We would like to appoint someone with shared values: someone who understands the importance of difference, creativity, experimentation and learning within art; who has a commitment to local artistic ambition and making a positive contribution to local communities in the area; and who is committed to equity, accessibility and care.
Job Responsibilities
The General Manager is integral to the management of Deptford X and the delivery and development of its ambitious programmes. The General Manager works closely with the Director and Board of Trustees as part of a small and supportive team to contribute actively and creatively to the development of the organisation, as well as overseeing daily and organisational operations. The General Manager supervises office management, communications, administration, financial management, staffing, programme delivery logistics, reporting and evaluation; and works collaboratively with the Director on strategic and financial development, including embedded environmental sustainability. In addition to the above, the General Manager will lead on developing and dynamically integrating Deptford X's access and care agenda.

Salary: £32 - 35,500 pro rata
Responsible to: Director
Location: We have a hybrid working model outside of festival delivery times. We have an office at Lewisham Arthouse in Deptford/Brockley and also offer the option to work 2 days a week from home.
Hours: 9.30 - 5.30
