- Devising, testing, and driving forward the strategy for high value event concepts to maximise income and opportunities for growth.

- Developing and implementing individual solicitation and stewardship plans for event board and committee members to ensure Action for Children benefits from the wider opportunities and continued support of these individuals, working collaboratively with the wider Partnerships & Philanthropy team to develop and implement stewardship practices and initiatives.

- Providing consistent professional fundraising knowledge and leadership, driving, and empowering more junior members of the team to deliver outstanding events and experiences.

- Being accountable for income targets and expenditure, ensuring the targeted ROI is achieved for your event portfolio, with responsibility for evaluating and reporting against event objectives, providing regular updates on income projection, KPI's and overall performance to internal and external stakeholders.

- Proven experience of developing and stewarding excellent relationships with senior level supporters.

-Experience of working with and managing fundraising committees or boards.

- Experience of managing external suppliers and understanding agreements and contracts.

- Excellent and effective communication and interpersonal skills across a variety of media and formats with the ability to adapt communications effectively to suit a range of supporters, flexing to suit different audiences.

- Confident presenter able to sell Action for Children's vision with passion and gravitas.

- Willingness to work flexible and unsocial hours including evenings / weekends as and when required.
