This includes assessment and support planning, and community outreach. Typically, Community Engagement Workers support people who are on the waiting list for or who are engaging in Talking Therapy. The Getting Help team works in partnership with HMR Talking Therapies delivered by the Big Life Group and Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Project support
- Contribute to outreach to project stakeholders, Community Members, partners & event attendees, answering and directing queries and scheduling appointments and virtual/ in-person meetings
- Organise meeting logistics, agenda preparation, notetaking, audio recording and the tracking and implementation of follow up actions and communications
- Carry out background research, review documents, and gather and analyse information using templates and tools such as Excel
- Coordinate project processes, including implementing procurement procedures, drafting contracts with consultants (based on ISEAL templates) and maintaining project-related systems
- Maintain web pages related to event and programme activities and support email and social media campaigns; upload blogs, documents, and resources

Essential attributes, skills & knowledge
- Experience working in a project or stakeholder commnications role, in a highly collaborative environment such as an international NGO

- Experience and comfort working with subject matter of a niche or specialist nature, possibly gained through data analysis, project communications, and/or the review and analysis of data sets, academic research, technical reports, and policy documents

The Outreach Team work in a person centred way, finding people who are currently homeless, or rough sleeping. The hours of the role at 5am to 1pm (there is some room for flexibility on this, however it must be early morning). We cover the entirety of Bedford, including rural areas, so the post holder must have a valid UK driving license, with access to a car. As we also cover town centre locations, the ideal candidate has to be able to walk fair distances, in all conditions (between 10 and 15,000 steps per day). The Role
The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers.

To work with the Impact and Communications Manager to provide content (photos, videos, quotes, case studies) which is safe for and respectful of the young people we support, with the right permissions that can be used as part of communications to our supporters, on social media and as evidence of our work to funders.

MapAction has developed an exciting new strategy to make humanitarian response and disaster preparedness more effective. We need a dynamic, proactive individual for the role of Team Coordinator to support our volunteers who play a central role in MapAction’s work.

Main Responsibilities
This role is pivotal to MapAction being operationally ready. The postholder is responsible for coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing engagement of highly skilled, specialist volunteers (MapAction currently has approx 100 in the UK, but plans to grow this and have a more globally diverse pool of volunteers). The role is established to ensure that volunteers feel valued, have access to relevant training that enables them to contribute in a meaningful way to the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteer and Operational support

Serve as the primary point of contact for staff seeking volunteer support. Plan, forecast and maintain records of volunteer engagement and workload.

My Health Matters is commissioned by London Borough of Havering (Public Health) and aims to inform, support and signpost residents to relevant local resources and empower them to adopt healthier lifestyles.
The role requires organising Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) Health Champion Training for people living and/or working in Havering and other health related training. You will be responsible for researching and organising events and relevant health literature to promote the project, engaging and building relationships with local stakeholders, supporting national Public Health campaigns. The role includes promoting the service at meetings and outreach events and organising focus groups with Health Champions. Successful applicants will have relevant knowledge in health awareness issues in a paid or voluntary capacity. About the role
This role is part of our London Borough of Hounslow team, reporting to the Local Services Manager, working alongside an experienced team of Dementia Advisers and supported by Volunteers. Volunteer role management is a key responsibility.
