You will be specifically supporting on fulfilment, appeals, Dispatches – MSF’s supporter magazine - legacy marketing, supporter events, thanking, and analysis & reporting.
This exciting role includes interviewing field staff, to gather information, news and stories from the field, to be shared through fundraising communications.
The Individual Giving is an integral part of the wider fundraising department at MSF, which is also made up of the Philanthropy and Fundraising Operations teams. In 2023 a team of around 35 people delivered income of over £77 million.

Job Purpose:
This role is vital for our high performing Individual Giving Team to operate effectively and efficiently. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a top performing fundraising team, for an International Humanitarian cause.
The Supporter Development Officer will manage and develop MSF’s fulfilment programme, ensuring MSF donors receive excellent communications including thanking processes, building excellent relationships with third party suppliers, and working in collaboration with other teams.
The role currently provides administration support to the legacy consultant, ensuring excellent care and quality communications for legacy pledgers.
The Supporter Development Officer provides weekly reports and analysis across all campaigns, sharing results with the wider team to help improve insight across channels.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in the UK charity sector, in a fundraising capacity, and/or direct marketing.
- Self-starter who has the confidence to introduce ideas and provide support across a wide range of projects, within a fast paced and demanding team, exercising good judgment, and using own initiative.
- Experience in project management.
- Excellent time management and planning skills with an ability to carry out different tasks simultaneously and prioritise time and resources accordingly.
- Experience in relationship management and liaising with external suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Ability to maintain accuracy, combined with excellent attention to detail.
- A systematic and organised approach with a proven ability to follow things through and meet targets in line with established schedules and deadlines.

As Project Support Officer you will support the Northern Area Manager and Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training (such as DBS, references, Food Safety Level 2, First Aid), giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our Yorkshire & The Humber projects to aid development and growth within the region.
Our projects are run by volunteers and supported by Regional Managers, through recruitment and training of volunteers. Father Hudson’s Care (FHC) is the social care agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham. We require an experienced senior manager to lead our Community Projects Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Senior Management Team and be part of a regional charity with a very diverse range of services.
Suitable candidates will have extensive experience in developing and managing services/projects in a community setting and in management of senior staff. With a proven track record in securing funding, you will have a good understanding of a wide range of income streams and be able to manage complex budgets. This is essential with a department of over 77 staff / 200 volunteers and an overall budget of over £2 million with multiple funding streams.
Our community projects reach out to individuals who are marginalised and in need, including asylum seekers, refugees and migrants, older people and individuals experiencing homelessness. FHC Community Projects are delivered as local partnerships and we provide support to independent charities. The projects are diverse in provision and size, are delivered by staff and volunteer teams and provide a breadth of services in community settings including social support, advice, practical help, emergency and longer-term accommodation. About FareShare South West
FareShare South West is the region’s largest food redistribution charity. We take good-to-eat surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, and share it with over 400 charities, schools and community hubs across the south west, joining the dots between food waste and hunger and transforming an environmental problem into social good.
Purpose of role
FareShare South West’s (FSSW) fundraising strategy and income streams have developed and diversified rapidly in line with major growth since 2017. Individual giving (IG) became a new major fundraising stream for us during the pandemic and is essential for ongoing sustainability as we expand and launch new programmes and operations to fight hunger and food waste.
The Supporter Care Officer (SCO) is responsible for all donor support processes, systems, strategies and individual giving fundraising appeals, which ensure we have excellent relationships with our donors to retain and grow our IG income. Powerful narratives, storytelling and engagement with donors is crucial to ensure that our funding need and impact is shared with supporters.
The SCO will work with the Fundraising Manager (FM) and Chief Fundraising and Communications Officer (CFCO) to grow our major donor, regular giving, appeal and legacy income alongside sustaining our irregular giving and Gift Aid income. The SCO will work with the Fundraising Assistant to thank supporters, record donations and support individuals with their own fundraising events.
The pay scale for this role reflects that we're open to applications from experienced Supporter Care and Individual Giving fundraisers, and also those looking to move into the sector who have transferable skills.

Churches Conservation Trust works with communities to look after 357 historic churches, over two million visitors annually and hundreds of events both private and public. These ancient, listed sites are among the most beautiful locations in England.
You’ll be visiting sites in your patch regularly, encouraging new supporters, holding local meetings, and raising funds to meet each building’s unique needs. Sharing progress through a growing church plan for each of the 22 churches in your area, you’ll ensure these buildings thrive as beautifully maintained visitor attractions, as venues for events and as central parts of village, town or city life.
You’ll be supported by our team of experts, including fundraising, conservation, and learning and by our large network of church supporters.

The Role

In addition to administrative tasks, this role involves supporting the charity’s mission and work in all interactions. You’ll have the opportunity to pray with supporters over the telephone and you'll support staff by managing travel bookings and serving as an information hub.
