What’s the job?
Working under the direction of Academic Representation Manager, you will coordinate and develop a Course Rep scheme that accurately and legitimately represents Manchester Met students and creates positive change and supervise and support the Faculty Organisers throughout the year in supporting course reps and the work of other union departments within faculties.
- You will lead on the course rep recruitment plan and training, including the delivery of the lead volunteer program, maintaining a partnership approach to delivering the Course Rep scheme, through positive relationships with university stakeholders and Union colleagues.
- You will organise and deliver events and workshops for Course Reps around particularly issues identified as relevant to their academic community and support the Academic Representation Manager with any projects, consultations or research into the academic experience at MMU.

The Major Gifts Stewardship Assistant is responsible for an existing portfolio of approximately 150+ individual, trust, and corporate donor relationships. Main responsibilities include:

- Develop content for various RABI communication channels including newsletters, intranet and website.

This role sits in our people team, supporting the charity by providing a professional, comprehensive and proactive recruitment service. About the opportunity
Corporate partnerships are critical to delivering our mission and ensuring we can support as many children and young people facing disadvantage to open doors to their future. The Philanthropy Team as a whole has a combined target income for the current year (2023-24) of £1.83 million (growing to £2.35m as our target for next year) of which approximately £850k is from corporate donors and their foundations. We have been successful year on year in increasing our fundraising base by building secure multi-year partnerships. Part of our growth strategy is looking at building stronger relationships with corporate partners, having established a strong multi-year relationship for the first time this year worth £500k annually. We have a great ability to measure and quantify its impact, which we are looking to better communicate and leverage with current and potential corporate partners.
We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead on our corporate partnership activities and initiatives, including growing income from corporate partners as well as increasing the number of corporate volunteer tutor applications we receive from them. Working within our Philanthropy Team, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will be responsible for the line-management and development of two Corporate Partnership Coordinators, ensuring that, as a team, you meet your corporate income and volunteer application targets. Your focus will be on deepening and leveraging relationships with our existing partners, alongside engaging new organisations with our mission and vision.

Duties and responsibilities

Harrogate Homeless Project is seeking to recruit a Volunteer Coordinator to join the Fundraising and Marketing team.

The Role
This role will work with HHP’s Management Team to develop opportunities for all areas within the Charity. About the opportunity
Fundraising is critical to delivering our mission and ensuring we can support as many children and young people facing disadvantage to open doors to their future. The Philanthropy Team as a whole has a combined target income for the current year (2023-24) of £1.83 million (growing to £2.35m as our target for next year), of which approximately £850k is from corporate donors and their foundations, £100k is from individuals, and the remaining from trusts and foundations. We currently have an opportunity for a Nature Recovery Manager within our national Environment & Climate Action Team within the Strategy and Impact Directorate. The S&I directorate analyses current and emerging policy and sets the Trust’s strategy and standards for regional delivery across all the Trust’s activities. The Environment and Climate action team is responsible for delivering the Trust’s strategy and policy on all environment and climate related sustainability issues, including environmental compliance as a minimum, improvement of our protected sites and achieving a net gain in biodiversity across our canal network.
Reporting to the Head of Environment and Climate action, the Nature Recovery Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the Trusts position and progress on nature recovery. The role includes delivering a long-term action plan to move more of our protected sites to favourable condition and collaborating with other teams across the Trust to develop, fund and deliver projects that increase biodiversity and the abundance of protected species across the network.
Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain the Trust’s nature recovery strategy
- Develop and own a national action plan to improve the condition of the Trust’s protected sites to meet the requirements set out in the Environmental Improvement Plan 2023.
