The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is looking for an experienced and results-driven marketing professional with great know-how in marketing opportunities and managing agencies, and a commitment to women’s economic empowerment to join our team as Programme Marketing Manager for 12 months.

About the role

Becoming the Programme Marketing Manager at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is a fantastic opportunity to help drive progress for women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries by engaging more people in our work.

The key purpose of this role is to effectively market our programmes to participants – chiefly our HerVenture business skills microlearning app and our sector-leading Mentoring Women in Business programme.

This will span three main projects:

· to successfully manage a marketing agency to effectively market the HerVenture app to women in South Africa (as part of a fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Mar ‘25);

· to successfully manage the same marketing agency to promote the app in Nigeria (as part of a separate fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Dec ‘24); and

· to effectively promote the opportunity to become a mentor to a woman entrepreneur through our Mentoring Women in Business programme to paying professionals worldwide. Your objective will be to secure 18+ paid mentors for the Nov ’24 programme intake and 20+ for the May ’25 intake.

Following the completion of the two HerVenture marketing projects, you will also lead other programme marketing initiatives in 2025. These will be determined in late 2024.

Following the May ’25 Mentoring intake you will deliver a strategy, harnessing your learning and analysis to outline an approach for marketing the programme to paying mentors in future.

You will also be called on to support other forms of programme marketing on an ad hoc basis, for example advising on development of corporate pitch decks, or co-designing materials for fundraising events.

This position reports directly to the Head of Communications and Marketing, however this is a highly collaborative role and you will also work closely with the Entrepreneurship programmes team and the Programme Funding team to develop and deliver plans and manage projects.

Our ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and motivated marketer with experience in ‘selling’ professional development / online volunteering opportunities, and in managing agencies and contractors to deliver on fixed projects as aligned to good marketing practices. You should be highly organised and goals-driven, with a collaborative approach, a growth-oriented mindset, and a strong desire to harness the power of marketing to support women’s economic empowerment.

About this role

The role of the Finance and Payroll Manager is to support the Development and Finance teams to manage and report on restricted income, as well as to manage monthly in-house payroll under the guidance of the Head of Finance. This involves ensuring that we are maximising the use of restricted funding, and that money is spent in line with donors’ wishes and that staff are paid accurately and on time each month. The Finance and Payroll Manager will work within a small Finance team under the supervision of the Head of Finance. They will work closely with the Joint ED, wider Senior Management Team, Head of Development and budget holders throughout the organisation.

They will support the Head of Finance with annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting as well as with the production of the monthly management accounts. They will support the Development team in making grant applications and develop restricted grant budgets for newly secured grants for integration into the organisational budget; they will meet regularly with the Development team and budget holders to review restricted project spend. They will produce reports for funders working in conjunction with our Development Team and casework teams. The Finance and Payroll Manager will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement of the finance systems, processes and grant management tools to ensure they continue to be fit for purpose.

Contract and location

The role is a full-time, permanent position with an annual salary of £50,571 per annum less any required deductions for Income Tax and National Insurance. 

 Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work a minimum of 40% from the London office and the rest of the week from home.

About the role 

This is an exciting role within the Volunteering Team. Your challenge will be to lead on the co-ordination and development of a meaningful, engaging and impactful corporate volunteering programme that delivers excellent volunteering experiences.

We’ll rely on you to effectively manage volunteering activities across our corporate partnerships. That will involve proactively leading work programmes and collaborating with colleagues across Shelter. The role involves working closely with our Corporate Partnerships Team – which is part of the High Value Partnerships department. They’re responsible for generating income by securing new corporate partnerships and managing and developing long term partnerships, the success of which is underpinned by volunteering opportunities.

Developing new corporate volunteering opportunities that align with our strategy will be important too, and, because we have a large network of stakeholders, you’ll also need to build a number of effective relationships as you actively seek out opportunities to collaborate in order to ensure success. Who are Women’s Aid?

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federation of over 170 organisations which provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. For almost 50 years we have campaigned on behalf of our members and survivors to shape policy and practice, and to raise awareness of domestic abuse.

Purpose of the Business Development Manager role: 

As Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in generating income for the charity – securing high value corporate partnerships and working on product development in collaboration with service delivery teams. Working close with the Head of Business Development, the post holder will source and secure new business and funding to enable the organisation to sustain and further develop our services and further our mission. Alongside targeting prospecting techniques, the Business Development Manager will need an understanding of financial management, and strong influencing skills to harness the support of the wider organisation to meet its objectives – working towards a team income generation target that is reviewed and updated annually. 

 Key duties and responsibilities of Business Development Manager:

• Identifying, researching and developing new business opportunities, creating robust business cases and resource plan to support proposals.
• Writing high quality bids and funding applications.
• Delivering a new Account Management approach for corporates, working to bring together existing functions across the organisation in one place.
• Working with the Head of Business Development to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Reporting on sales, pipeline and activity.
• Territory planning to define how income targets will be achieved, with documented action plans.
• Working creatively with colleagues across the organisation and with decision makers at partner organisations to demonstrate how working with Women’s Aid delivers measurable business benefits and ROI.
• Identify and build strong partnerships/products that bring us substantial routes to markets, including public sector agencies.

What we are looking for in our Business Development Manager:

• Experience in business development or corporate partnerships background.
• Good understanding of how to generate income in a charity organisation, with experience of income targets in previous organisations.
• Experience of developing and implementing strategies and ways of working.
• Excellent communication skills, evidenced by building and maintaining long-term corporate strategic partnerships.
• Good understanding of digital tools and the ability to analyse data (CRM systems and method and excellent understanding of excel).
• Organised and strong project manager, confident in solving problems and securing financial targets.
• Team player with strong inter-personal skills.

Role purpose:

The Partnerships & Income Operations Manager plays a multifaceted role encompassing driving pipeline prospecting efforts, managing certain impact reporting initiatives, and nurturing corporate partnerships. This pivotal role serves as a primary point of contact for coordinating various aspects of partnership development, impact reporting, and fundraising activities.

Main responsibilities and accountabilities:

 Corporate Partnerships:

· Lead a portfolio of lower to mid-value corporate donors, cultivating relationships and maximising engagement aligned with organisational objectives.

· Balance support between existing partnership management and developing new business opportunities, including mid to higher value partnerships.

 Pipeline Prospecting:

· Lead the identification and cultivation of prospective corporate donors, both new and potential.

· Utilise relationship management expertise and networking acumen to proactively identify opportunities for engagement in alignment with our balanced scorecard objectives.

· Act as a primary point of contact for inbound and outbound leads, collaborating with the Communications Team on outreach campaigns to drive lead generation and partnership engagement.

· Ensure a seamless experience for prospects entering the organisation, guiding them through the employer customer journey.

· Support the engagement of targeted employers in key sectors and regions, collaborating with income generation colleagues to develop mid to higher value prospects.

· Support the development of bids and pitches, connecting colleagues into their contributions across those efforts.

Engagement Tracking:

· Develop and maintain an Excel document to meticulously track engagement levels and interaction points with stakeholders.

· Coordinate the launch and delivery of quarterly board breakfasts, led by our board members; Manage logistics and invitations for board breakfasts to ensure successful networking opportunities.

· Facilitate a minimum of 10 executive meetings from our existing corporate partner portfolio per quarter with our CEO

· Coordinate the launch and delivery of quarterly sector-specific breakfasts to engage key individuals from existing partners; Coordinate with hosting partners and relevant attendees to ensure successful networking events.

Impact Reporting:

 · Coordinate, own, and update the employer impact reporting calendar for Partnerships and Income, ensuring proactive management of reporting deadlines and deliverables.

· Serve as the templated annual review impact report document owner, ensuring colleagues are familiar with its usage and providing necessary guidance.

· Maintain and update the fundraising FAQs document, acting as the point of contact for the team regarding any new questions and ensuring incorporation of new queries into the document.

Additional Duties:

· Collaborate with colleagues to gather necessary information for impact reporting and fundraising FAQs, coordinating with experts as needed.

· Assist in the development and updating of key information packs and documents related to impact reporting and fundraising.

· Act as a resource for the team, providing guidance and support on impact reporting and fundraising-related inquiries.

· Collaborate with colleagues on specific priority projects contributing to partnership success, such as establishing and growing senior networks with partners and spotlighting partners across channels.

· Secure partner events to maximise engagement opportunities and demonstrate the impact of our work.

· Strengthen external relationships by proactively seeking networking opportunities and identifying speaking engagements.

· Support the team in the funder contracts and payments cycle.

Stakeholders:

 Internal stakeholders include Impact Team, Salesforce, Data, and Digital Team, Finance Team, Communications and Marketing Team, Programme Leads, and colleagues in the Partnerships and Income Team.

External stakeholders include existing corporate partners and volunteers.

Partnership and Digital Marketing Co-ordinator

Refugee Action Kingston exists to enable refugees and asylum seekers to succeed as integrated members of the local community. For over 30 years, we have achieved this mission by delivering a range of services including welfare, immigration and legal advice, education, counselling, and careers guidance.

We are looking for a Partnership and Digital Marketing Co-ordinator

Location:  Hybrid – remote/office in central Kingston

Hours:  Part-time – 21 hours per week (flexible working available)

Salary: £18,000 (£30,000 pro-rata)

Main Duties

• To develop relationships with corporates, SMEs and other relevant organisations through effective digital marketing
• To create a digital marketing campaign that generates partnerships and mutually beneficial relationships including job opportunities, work interviews, work experience and trials
• Tell the stories of our clients to educate employers and businesses as to the benefits of working with and supporting refugees and people seeking asylum

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to join our Fundraising Team and support the Head of Fundraising in maximising income to meet and exceed financial targets. You will maximise supporter engagement and income across all funding streams, especially individual giving, patrons, major donors and legacies with some support to Trusts & Foundations and Corporate Partnerships.

You will collaborate across the Ri to develop innovative and compelling proposals, delivering excellent account management and stewardship to existing donors, and identifying, researching and engaging new prospects.

About You

A compelling and engaging communicator, who is adept at managing a portfolio of donors at different stages – from prospecting and cultivation through to ask, stewardship and retention, you will be able to work at all levels of the organisation to cultivate and develop the relationships that will enable the Ri to achieve our strategy.
