The Role

As FareShare continues to build broad and successful partnerships with key food suppliers across the UK, the Impact Reporting Officer will play a vital role in managing data and effectively demonstrating our impact to the food industry. This position is central to achieving our mission of saving usable surplus food and feeding communities.

This role is a reporting and systems lead, providing administrative and analytical support to the Food Team with a primary focus on consolidating and managing food volume data. Demonstrating to companies the difference their food makes  in an informative and engaging way is a key driver of continued support and motivation for the food industry. We seek a fast learner who can engage across various internal systems, including FareShare’s national WMS, Power BI, and our CRM Salesforce.

Working closely with the Food Team, the role will extract and manipulate data from our systems, presenting it meaningfully in reports and updates for our key food partners. Additionally, this role will collaborate with FareShare’s in-house technology department (The Info Centre) to champion and support the maintenance and accuracy of systems used within the Food Team, ensuring account records are up-to-date, and live reporting is both accurate and beneficial to account managers while adhering to GDPR policies.

This role will champion the further embedded usage of our CRM system (Salesforce) to better manage multifaceted relationships with our partners across the food industry. Having a clear £29,362and aligned view of the relationships across the industry is central to our ability to achieve our ambitions in partnership excellence. This role will both support the teams in keeping the CRM accurate and work with the Info Centre in suggesting and implementing builds and developments to the CRM that enhance our ability to successfully track and monitor key relationships.

Alongside the ownership of our impact data, this role will also contribute to cross-departmental data analytics projects and support the Marketing team to gather qualitative impact stories. Across both qualitative and quantitative impact data, this role will look to translate all of this into meaningful insights for companies that highlight FareShare’s work and ultimately help to deliver more food for those that need it.

Main areas of responsibility

Impact Reporting

• Design, build and implement impact reporting activities across the Food Team, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with key partner joint partnership plans
• Develop and implement best practices for impact reporting to effectively communicate the difference made by partners’ food .
• Support the gathering of qualitative impact stories, working collaboratively with charity partners and individuals to compile compelling narratives.
• Bridge the gap between qualitative and quantitative impact data, translating both into meaningful insights that resonate with key stakeholders.
• Develop content that effectively communicates the broader impact of our initiatives to both corporate and charity partners.

Data Analysis and Insights

• Provide comprehensive reports and analyses on food partner volumes, aiding Commercial Manager presentations and reports to food partners, including Tesco reporting requests.
• Utilise analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from various internal systems, contributing to informed decision-making and strategy formulation (including where possible providing data to marketing team and to support commercial decisions across the procurement team).
• Collaborate with Commercial Managers to support data gathering for monthly reporting and quarterly/annual forecasting and targeting.

CRM System Enhancement

• Champion the embedded usage of the CRM system (Salesforce) to enhance relationship management with partners in the food industry.

• Provide hands-on support to the Food Team in improving the effective use of Salesforce, ensuring all team members are proficient in utilising its features.

Food Data Accuracy

• Support the maintenance and accuracy of our food volume data across visualisation tools like Power BI, including full ownership of the food team Power BI report.

Troubleshooting, System Support and Training

• Work closely with the Food Team to understand how systems, including CRM and Power BI, are utilised for decision-making, strategic planning, and day-to-day operations.
• Offer troubleshooting support, identifying and resolving issues related to system usage and data management.
• Support in the delivery of training on existing systems with the ambition of building a stronger data culture across the Food Team and wider organisation

Key Tasks

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all high value fundraising activity, including proposals, applications, and donor interactions, and be able to regularly report this activity back to the Head of Philanthropy.

Job Description

Job Title: Head of School Programmes

Reports to: Director of Programmes

Location: Quantum House, 22 – 24 Red Lion Court, Fleet Street, London, EC4A 3AB The role is open to hybrid working but the candidate would be expected to be in the office one day per week

Purpose: This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team supporting and engaging thousands of state schools nationally to effectively use the Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes to improve outcomes for children and young people. These programmes leverage technology to raise the aspirations and broaden the horizons of children and young people by connecting them to a huge range of volunteers from the world of work via career related learning activities. Alongside staff management and delivering a strategy for general programme engagement, the role manages the delivery of several funded projects.

Remuneration: £36 - £40k per annum FTE depending on experience

Additional Terms: 30 days paid holiday, exclusive of Statutory Holiday plus competitive pension scheme and a volunteering allowance of up to 5 days – pro rata in accordance with the length of contract. Additional family friendly benefits including enhancements to Statutory Payments.

Job purpose

Working closely with the senior management team and deputising for the Director of Programmes where necessary, the successful candidate will have responsibility for developing and delivering a strategy to support the increase in successful school engagement with the charity’s main programmes Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures. This will include managing and leading a team to deliver effective school support, building strong relationships with key stakeholders including local authorities, unions and school networks and ensuring appropriate marketing, resources and guidance to support effective school usage. The role will be responsible for managing several key funded projects and contracts for the charity.

The schools team are responsible for both delivery of key funded projects and contracts as well as driving up awareness and effective engagement with Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures from schools. We now have over 11,000 teachers from state schools and colleges registered on Inspiring the Future and want to see a significant increase in those successfully using the platform and its related services over the next five years. In particular, we are looking to engage significantly more primary schools as well as continue our strong links with secondary and college staff.

The successful applicant will be expected to quickly pick up delivery of key projects and review, and where appropriate improve, existing strategic plans to engage and support state schools through our programmes and therefore a good understand of career related learning activities is essential. They will be supported by the Director of Programmes and senior management team and an excellent schools team of passionate staff.

The ideal candidate will be able to lead and manage a small and dynamic team and will be able to absorb key information quickly, working across a number of varied projects and programmes.

• Working with the Director of Programmes to review, improve and implement strategic plans to increase the charity’s engagement with primary schools and secondary/colleges for Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes

In partnership with the National Association of Head Teachers the charity has developed a version for primary schools called Primary Futures and over 6,500 primaries have already signed up. World Child Cancer is seeking an experienced corporate and philanthropy fundraiser to join our growing team and play a vital role in improving the chances of survival and quality of life of children with cancer in under-resourced countries.

About World Child Cancer

Over 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. Childhood cancer is most often curable, with over 80% survival rate in high income countries. However, in many low-and-middle-income countries survival rates are often 25% or lower.

World Child Cancer’s goal is to help redress that inequity and improve the chances of children with cancer to survive and thrive in under-resourced countries. We currently work with local hospitals in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Mexico to enable children with cancer to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, providing financial, logistical and emotional support to address barriers to access treatment, training of healthcare workers and advocacy.

Overview of the role

This newly created Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager role will play a key part in raising income from companies and philanthropists to help achieve World Child Cancer’s mission.

You will be passionate about enabling children with cancer to have equitable access to quality treatment wherever they are born. About the opportunity
Corporate partnerships are critical to delivering our mission and ensuring we can support as many children and young people facing disadvantage to open doors to their future. Introduction

The Prison Reform Trust (PRT) was founded in 1981 to inform public debate and improve prison conditions and the treatment of prisoners, amidst concerns about a projected prison population of 48,000 by 1984. Fast forward to today, the prison population in England and Wales is almost 87,000 and is projected to rise to 106,300 by March 2027. We overuse prison for non-violent and persistent crime, and we choose to send people to prison for a long time, and it continues to grow.

Our mission is clear. We are working to create a just, humane and effective prison system by influencing decision-makers opinion formers and the public to 1) reduce the use of prison; 2) Improve conditions for prisoners and, 3) promote equality and human rights in the criminal justice system.

Income in 2023 was £2.06 million, with most of our income portfolio reliant on trusts and foundations. We have just been through a strategic development period and as a part of that we have uncovered significant untapped potential for philanthropic and relational based income growth. We are now seeking a newly designed, ‘Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy’ to lead the whole fundraising programme, but with a specific focus on developing the philanthropy and corporate programme to take Prison Reform Trust to the next level.

• Host meetings with philanthropists and foundation directors to generate interest in SV’s work and secure support 

• Manage SV’s grant research to maintain a database of viable funding opportunities for the organisation

• Lead the development and writing of concept notes, proposals, presentations and pitches to prospective donors

• Draft funder reports in collaboration programmes and finance teams, and manage report submissions in line with funder agreements

• Work effectively with the Head of Programmes and Partnerships and Finance Manager to collate project information, in order to enhance funding applications and reports

• Manage SV’s donor management tools

• Build relationships with our donors to foster long-term partnerships

• Identify and execute funding campaigns, including our annual Big Give Christmas match funding challenge

• Track and monitor fundraising progress, trends, and insights, and provide reports to executive management and the Board of Trustees

• Recruit new staff and volunteers to the fundraising team in line with available budget

• Delegate effectively to fundraising team members, ensuring tasks are clearly defined, properly supported and well monitored 

• Remain abreast of current trends in fundraising and donor interests

• Adhere to the Code of Fundraising Practice and all internal policies at SV

• Undertake any other reasonable duties at the request of the line manager

Experience – Proven track record of either corporate partnerships/CSR or major donor/philanthropy fundraising, or both. If you are a specialist at income generation in one area and would like to develop skills and experience in the other area, please do apply. You will be supported with training, mentoring and specialist contractor support to support your development.

You may be in a charity fundraiser role already, or from a different sector with transferable experience of business development or partnerships.

You will have autonomy in your role in a supportive and flexible environment, as well as having a collaborative team working with you, including the lead Co-CEO for income generation, youth engagement team managers, the Head of Communications & Marketing, a fundraising contractor (trusts and foundations) and two experienced lead Trustees for income generation and communications. Peer Power Youth has a successful track record of securing income from Trusts and Foundations and earned income through training sales, contracts and consultancy, which has enabled us to achieve individual impact for young people and tangible system change impact for thousands more children and young people.

You will need to travel around London and South East for partnership meetings, team meetings and events to build relationships to generate income and support for the charity. The Executive Management Administration team of 5, headed by the MD, run the organisation on a day-to-day basis. The team is supported by the REB board and committees, together with 3rd party providers for accounting, payroll, banking, media & public relations, website hosting and IT services.

Role and Responsibilities

New Position: Due to the increase in REB memberships and activities, a new full-time events role is being created to support the executive team.

Key Tasks – support the MD in creating and delivering a member engagement and events programme

1. Conception and collaboration of member events, through to completion

2. Promoting events to members, working alongside REB’s external PR/Communications agency

3. Managing event registrations and guest lists

4. Responsible for line managing the events administrator

5. Responsible for REB events planning, logistics, analysis (report & presentation) and follow-up actions

6. Attending meetings with members re event planning and development

7. Reporting quarterly to the board and attending board meetings with the Executive team

Detailed Responsibilities

1. Develop, manage and deliver REB’s event programme (working with MD and ED&I coordinator):

o upload event listings to website;

o prepare invitations;

o liaise with host venues;

o oversee registrations & comms;

o obtain event feedback

2. Monitor and evaluate events including reviewing feedback and attendance

3. Coordinate the CEO Breakfasts series

4. Maintain the Events page on the REB website

5. Maintain a database of venues

6. Identify, approach and secure appropriate speakers and participants for events

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

1. Events management and logistics

2. Knowledge (preferably working knowledge) of Microsoft Dynamics and Marketing

3. Knowledge (preferably working knowledge) of current best practices and trends in ED&I, including familiarity with key concepts (e.g. allyship, unconscious bias, intersectionality, etc.)
