This role is an exciting opportunity to help support the mission of the charity through a programme of income-generating corporate cooking teambuilding challenges. We have been running these successfully for several years and are now looking to replicate the model outside London, starting with a pilot in central Birmingham.
You will facilitate and run our Food Invention Challenges in a kitchen facility in central Birmingham, collaborating with corporate teams, local stakeholders and the venue.
We are seeking a people-oriented person with great communication skills, who is looking for a flexible role that has the potential to grow. If you have a love of food, strong organisational skills and enjoy creating fun and engaging teambuilding sessions, then this is the role for you!
Benefits: We offer 26.5 working days (this includes 3.5 days for the Christmas close down) pro rata based on FTE/working hours. Plus additional holiday for length of service, up to a maximum of 30 days (pro-rata for part-time). The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to increase awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and promote access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.
Do you have experience of working in drug services and with volunteers? Have you been affected by hepatitis C or have you supported anyone who has hepatitis C?
We are looking for passionate and skilled peer leads who have excellent communication and organisational skills. We require a good standard of education and welcome creativity and innovation in all our work.
Working as part of a growing team providing services to people living with hepatitis C, this post will expand delivery of the Hepatitis C peer project, recruiting and supporting volunteer peers across Birmingham and immediate surrounding areas to raise awareness, promote harm reduction approaches, and proactively increase HCV (Hepatitis C Virus) testing, treatment, and care for marginalised communities.
This post will require extensive travel across the region, and it is desirable, but not essential for the post holder to hold a clean driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.

We are looking for someone to run our helpline and perform general administration office duties from our Birmingham office. A large part of this role is to provide emotional support to traumatically bereaved members when required.
Candidates must have a history of providing emotional support to emontionally distressed or vulnerable people.
The Office Assistant will be accountable to the Office Co-ordinator, and they must be able to fulfil a variety of administration and digital tasks. They will also assist staff and trustees in the delivery of the charity’s projects and possess good digital and face to face communication skills.
