Job description

Job Title: Chief Finance Officer (Interim) 

Contract Type: Fixed term (must be able to start on or before 6th January 2020)

Hours: Full time - 35 hours a week

Location: London (other Prince’s Trust offices in England will be considered)

You will be joining us as part of a new direction for finance at The Prince’s Trust, in the newly created role of Chief Finance Officer you will work closely with the UK Chief Executive, as a key member of The Trust’s Executive Committee (ExCo) and play a vital role in ensuring a sound & sustainable future for the trust.

In this interim role, you will be responsible for defining the financial strategy in-line with the guidelines set out by ExCo and The Council (our board of trustees), as well as owning responsibility for the overall performance and management of The Trust’s finances, investments and property portfolio, while ensuring that The Trust complies with all statutory and tax requirements and that the financial reporting and financial management systems of The Trust comply with industry standards.

You will be an experienced financial leader, with strong stakeholder management skills and experience in developing, coaching and mentoring a high-performance team within a large national or international organisation (over 30 staff with income profile of £50million+). You must have experience within a charity organisation that has included large project/contract management at a similar level, ideally, serving in a board level role.

We can consider candidates from both a fixed term contract & daily rate background, however, you must be available to start on or before 6th January 2020.
