For professioals :

This new e-learning tool has been specifically designed for professionals who work and interact with young BAME carers including youth and social workers, teachers, teaching assistants etc. It is freely available in four languages: English, Italian, Greek and Swedish. 

Both senior and entry level professionals will be benefit from the practical, scenario and video based exercises that allow for professional awareness and reflection on current practice. Working through the programme’s four short, interactive and easy to complete modules, participants will

· Gain a better understanding and awareness of needs and realities of young BAME carers in the UK and Europe.
· Gain a better understanding of the skills and competences that young carers develop as a result of their caring experience.
·  Gain an understanding of the applicability of those skills at workplace.
·  Practice learning with realistic case studies, establishing a sense of practical application to what has been learnt.
· Develop a positive thinking approach about young people focusing on their strengths.

The content of this online course has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.

The content of this online training course was built on the findings of in depth youth-led qualitative research with young carers and professionals in four European countries (UK, Sweden, Italy and Greece), conducted in the framework of the two-year Erasmus+ funded Care2Work project
