_Hello.

The _SocialStarters Programme provides hands-on experience of working with a start-up stage social enterprise, solving their business problems and creating solutions that will allow them to make a bigger social or environmental impact. You also receive training in social enterprise and consultancy, and peer to peer support to guide you on your journey of becoming a Social Enterprise Consultant. 

Over the last 6 years nearly 400 career transitions have taken place by participants on our programme. Graduates feel more fulfilled, refreshed and energised, ready to take the next step in their career - whether that’s joining a  mission-driven organisation or setting up their own business to use their professional skills to make an impact. 

The _SocialStarters Programme is a 2 month programme set up by ex-Corporate professionals specifically created for marketing, operations and finance specialists who want to learn about a new way of doing business for good that is far more socially impactful and sustainable.

You will learn more about each of these challenges on the programme and learn from the people who are working tirelessly to solve these challenges from the ground up.

Our founder has been listed as one of the top 100 women in social enterprise two years running and in 2019 won the Natwest Women's Champion award for her work tackling inequality in entrepreneurship.

We are a social enterprise who invest 75 of profits back into delivering enterprise training and support for those who need it the most. Since 2014, we've run 25 accelerators across 6 countries and have brought the _SocialStarters programme to the UK in 2018 which has seen 68 professionals pass through and tackle missions across the creative economy, sustainable planet, equality in entrepreneurship and youth opportunities.

Deadline for Early Bird applications - 11th December at midday. Final deadline - 8th January.  Places go on a first come first serve basis, and once the programme is full (capped at 8) we won't be taking any more participants.

What you require

  • You're passionate about start-ups, small business and about making social or environmental impact
  • You have 6+ years’ experience and some serious skills in sales and marketing, finance and/or business operations
  • You are committed to giving your spare time to support a small business affected by covid-19
  • You want to be part of a peer group, share your valuable skills and gain invaluable learning (this can be done around your existing commitments)
