First Aid At Work Course

Overview

Knowing the basics of first aid is a vital skill to have, whether you’re in a workplace environment or at home. It could be a case of saving someone’s life, so it’s never too late to train. Our workplace First Aid Training course is designed to introduce you to the basic fundamentals of first aid, from how to act in potentially life-threatening situations, to conducting a head-to-toe check on someone who has sustained an injury.

This First Aid at Work course is also suitable for people who are designated as an appointed person in the workplace. As well as meet the needs of those supporting a qualified First Aid at Work (FAW) practitioner. The content also fulfils the requirements for the FAW annual refresher.

Once the course is successfully completed, you’ll receive a CPD accredited certificate as proof of your new skills, with the confidence to apply the correct safety measures for your business or workplace.

Format

The first aid at work course is accessed through a dedicated learner portal. Your course material is presented in an interactive and easy to follow presentation enabling you to study at your own pace. The course is divided into simple sections with a short quiz at the end of each to test your knowledge. Once you have progressed through each of the course sections you can complete an end of course quiz which consists of multiple choice questions based on the material that you have studied. Once you have passed the course you can download your course certificate in PDF from your learner area. If you don't pass the course first time, don't worry, you can resist the test as many times as required.

Duration and Time Limit

The first aid at work course takes approximately 2 – 3 hours to complete, although there is no time limit and you can do it in your own time and in stages.
