This training will increase awareness and understanding of forced marriage in the context of honour-based violence and domestic abuse, the barriers and consequences of fleeing Forced Marriage, learning to identify risk indicators and increasing safety planning skills.
This course is appropriate for professionals, volunteers and managers working with adults and/or children affected by domestic abuse or forced marriage, including in social work, education, health, criminal justice, children’s centres, and voluntary sector organisations. The cost is: £75 (voluntary sector); £85 (statutory sector); £120 (private sector), and refreshments are provided.
