Overview

This two-day training aims to better prepare humanitarian programme managers for the inevitable logistics issues that arise during humanitarian programming, resulting in a more positive impact for people affected by disasters. It covers the following topics:

  • Logistical needs assessments
  • Key roles and responsibilities for logs
  • Logistics and the project cycle
  • Transport logistics
  • Supply chain management
  • Procurement

This course is for staff involved in humanitarian response at management level in NGOs, humanitarian organizations, local and national government.

£50 per person. Price includes course fee, workbook and course materials, lunch, and coffee breaks everyday. It does not include transport or accommodation.
