Overview

Are you interested in strengthening the projects and programmes your organisation implements or supports to ensure you are integrating women’s rights and gender equality? All too often projects do not take gender inequality issues into account, resulting in gender unaware project design. This negatively impacts project quality and outcomes for all participants.

Who is this training course suitable for?

This course is intended for those who are responsible for developing and managing or monitoring and evaluating projects and programmes in the context of international development. This is an introductory course which does not assume specific gender expertise. The course has been designed to build participants’ skills and confidence to understand why and how gender equality issues are relevant for their work and to explore some of the practical approaches for integrating gender equality into the project cycle.
