Inviting new people to come and work in our organisations is one of the most important decisions we’ll take. And if we genuinely believe that ‘people are our most important assets’ then great recruitment should be non-negotiable. However, most of the evidence shows that too often we assume managers have the right skills and experience to recruit, without ever giving them the training or the tools they need to get it right.
This day long workshop will give delegates a strong understanding of what makes effective recruitment and selection as well as an understanding of the expected standards, procedures and practices of managers.
Who will benefit?
The programme is suitable for those who are new to recruitment and selection, as well as those that are experienced but want to refresh and update their knowledge, including:
• Line managers;
• Aspiring managers;
• Senior leaders; and
• Trustees involved in recruitment
What is included?
• Attendance at full day masterclass
• Pre-session questionnaire to tailor the masterclass, and ensure familiarity with your own policies and procedures.
• A follow-up telephone coaching session for each delegate after the masterclass to help apply the learning to upcoming recruitment.
• Full delegate pack including extensive resources, tools and a free copy of a resource book.
