Course Objectives:

• To be able to name and define key components of the supply chain – procurement, warehousing, transport and distribution

• To learn about strategy and planning of these components to best streamline the supply chain and best mitigate against key threats; insecurity, corruption, waste

• To understand he broader considerations when planning your response and supply chain i.e. needs, market, financial and infrastructure assessments

• To gain good understanding of Cash Transfer Programming and its implications for supply chain management and logistics management

• To be able to apply this knowledge through a series of simulations and exercises
