Course Objectives:
To be able to name and define key components of the supply chain – procurement, warehousing, transport and distribution
To learn about strategy and planning of these components to best streamline the supply chain and best mitigate against key threats; insecurity, corruption, waste
To understand he broader considerations when planning your response and supply chain i.e. needs, market, financial and infrastructure assessments
To gain good understanding of Cash Transfer Programming and its implications for supply chain management and logistics management
To be able to apply this knowledge through a series of simulations and exercises
