Overview

Are you a Tower Hamlets Homes residents and would like to improve your IT skills, then look no further.  Join our 6-week basic IT course and master the world of computers.  There is also an opportunity to progress onto a level 1 IT qualification* call form more details

Course delivered:  Thursday 10am-12pm OR Friday 10am-12pm

Duration: 6 weeks, with progression opportunities

What you will learn

This six weeks basic IT course will enable learners to develop skills and confidence in using IT. By the end of the course you will understand:

• How to use a computer and learn about some basic IT functions
• How to browse the internet. The course covers using a web browser to view websites
• How to surf the web using search engines
• Gain an basic understanding of how to up apps (via tables/phone)
• Staying safe online - deleting browsing history and antivirus protection
• Signed upto MyTHH and improve understanding on how to use the portal for their housing services, access rent and service charge accounts, repairs and requests directly into THH's customer contact management system etc.
