About the team
This new team sits under our Audience Engagement and Planning sub-directorate, created in early 2023, the team is still taking shape making it an exciting opportunity to help us in this crucial function.
The role is part of a 5-person Strategic Comms Team that has a primary mandate is focused on delivering a full range of integrated strategic across Shelter to ensure we’re delivering high quality and highly strategic public engagement approaches. As Shelter’s Brand Manager, you will act as brand guardian, acting as the first point of contact for any brand queries and working collaboratively with teams across the organisation in the development of both public and internal-facing communications, products, and projects. You will provide ongoing support for teams on how best to leverage the brand to drive maximum engagement, ensuring that all work is aligned to our brand and strategy and is informed by evidence and insight.
You will be instrumental in implementing the cross-organisational brand strategy, working closely alongside the Senior Brand Marketing Manager to develop and deliver training and inductions for internal teams, external agencies, and partners. Alongside this, you will proactively develop and implement ways of working and processes, as well as developing and distributing brand resources and assets, to ensure that teams are equipped to deliver work more efficiently and effectively.
About you
Well-versed in brand management, you will possess a clear understanding of the importance of strategy, knowledge of how to embed and maintain a brand, and how to ensure consistency across multiple channels, projects and products. Alongside your ability to confidently manage a diverse set of cross-organisational stakeholders and teams, you will be an impressive communicator, able to engage stakeholders through both verbal and written comms as well as via workshops and presentations. Strategically minded with a keen creative eye, you will have a proactive and solutions-focussed approach to your work, and be able to demonstrate project management skills alongside an understanding of the importance of insight and how it informs plans and activity.

About the role
Sightsavers' content and stories team has responsibility for developing creative concepts and content in response to communications briefs, as well as supporting the organisation with video and editorial services, and sourcing photography, video, audio and written stories from projects across Africa and South Asia. This work generates a huge volume of multimedia digital assets which need to be easily searchable by everyone in the organisation. We've recently moved to a new digital asset management system which requires an ongoing process of training and development.
We are looking for a Digital Asset Manager to be responsible for embedding and maintaining our new digital asset management system (Asset Bank), offering training and support to teams using and uploading assets. You'll work closely with content producers and story collectors to develop workflows preparing and uploading new content and you'll lead their implementation. As digital asset manager you'll inspire staff with available content, finding creative ways to make the organisation aware of the assets the team is producing. You'll need to make strategic decisions and plans for optimising and promoting the system and its contents, but you won't shy away from getting stuck into the day to day of preparing and uploading content.

Overall purpose:

Tom’s Trust provides psychological support for children with brain tumours and their families. Our head office is based in Cambridge but we have a number of staff who work hybrid or fully remote from home.
We already operate services in the North East and North West as well as the East of England but are determined to keep helping more families in more regions and we need someone to help us do that.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Digital Marketing and Communications Officer to join our small, friendly team. With digital marketing experience, the successful candidate will play a key role in attracting and engaging more visitors and donors to Tom’s Trust.
You will be a team player who is comfortable getting stuck in as there will be occasions where you need to get involved in things that may be outside of your direct job role.

The Community Fundraiser plays a vital role in fostering and expanding our network of individual givers and community fundraisers. The position is responsible for:
- Developing and managing relationships with our supporters.
- Signing SafeLives up to a programme of fundraising events.
- Maintaining and growing our supporter base.
- Responding to fundraising opportunities from individuals and corporates.
We will occasionally require you to support with organising events for our high-net-worth individuals. The role is managed by our Trusts and Grants Manager. It was a new role in 2022 and the successful candidate will build on the foundations that have been set over the last year and a half.
The ideal candidate will bring creativity and proactivity to the role – thinking outside the box and finding new ways to grow our supporter base and market our opportunities. You will be the perfect balance of engaging and motivational and a rigorous planning coordinator with exceptional attention to detail. You will help us reach new supporters, through events and fundraising, and communicate our key messages in a way that encourages people to support our work.

Overall purpose:
Principal Accountabilities:
As Marketing Executive in the Marketing & Communications team, you will support our marketing activity to help grow our brand, our supporter base and increase engagement with individuals and businesses within the automotive industry. You’ll work closely and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver the best possible results for digital communications delivered via content on our website, social channels and email to support the delivery of Ben’s overall Health & Wellbeing content strategy.

Experience required:

- 2+ years content writing experience
- Writing, creating and producing content in multiple formats for various audiences and touch points
- Managing end to end email production from data management and segmentation to email creation to sending and evaluation
- Creating effective content and supporting others to do this
- Understanding and application of brand guidelines
- Excellent spelling and grammar, with the ability to change the tone of voice dependent on the audience
- Practical content gathering, writing, and editing
- Managing online and social media advertising campaigns
- Understanding and creation of on-page SEO and knowledge of the wider SEM implications
- Use of CMS, web platforms such as Umbraco
- Use of collaborative tools such as Google Drive, Trello, Teams etc
