PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Wellbeing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of children and young people attending our camps. They will assess the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children and young people attending camp to determine the support needed during the camp experience. They will work alongside volunteers and colleagues to implement support strategies at camp that meet these needs.
They must assess, respond to, and escalate safeguarding concerns. The successful candidate will be a registered Children's Nurse with experience in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) or a special interest in children's mental health. They will work closely with camp staff, healthcare professionals, and volunteers to create a nurturing environment that supports the diverse needs and will contribute, when appropriate to nursing / clinical knowledge to ensure a safe and effective service.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Over The Wall seeks an individual passionate about the well-being needs of children and young people who use our service. You will also be a qualified nurse and occasionally use your clinical knowledge and skills to support the OTW Nursing Team when necessary.
Knowledge and expertise:

- Supervise, mentor and support volunteers and staff in managing campers’ psychosocial wellbeing and behaviour at camp.
- Work collaboratively with the Nursing Team and the Clinical Team to ensure integrated holistic care.
- Ensure systems to monitor camper psychosocial wellbeing at camp are followed.
- Liaise with parents/carers and professionals as appropriate to support campers’ experience at camp.
- Deliver training and supervision around psychosocial issues, behaviour and safeguarding.
- Attend the relevant multidisciplinary meetings to contribute to coordinated assessment and support, raise any concerns and seek advice.

Camper Engagement:
- Develop informative, engaging, and relevant pre-camp communications for campers and their families.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide creative age and developmentally appropriate methods for engaging children, young people and their families in the development and evaluation of services.

Record Keeping and Administration:
- Maintain accurate, factual, and contemporaneous records of camper/family contacts and interactions.
- Ensure personal information or observations about individual children/young people are appropriately shared with colleagues to support integrated multidisciplinary care.
- Record and report all concerns relating to needs assessment or safeguarding children to the appropriate member of staff.
- Keep objective and contemporaneous records of contacts, interventions and outcomes for campers and be able to utilise this information to inform future assessments and practice.

About the Role:
The main responsibilities of the role are outlined below:
- To act as organisational lead for CYP, ensuring effective development and delivery of operational and strategic policy.

Reporting directly to the National Volunteering Manager, you will champion volunteering throughout the organisation, managing our volunteer network across either our North or South regions. You will have experience of volunteer engagement and management underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include being passionate about volunteerism, a comprehensive understanding of best practices in volunteer engagement, determination and an innovative problem-solving approach. This is a home-based role but does require occasional travel around the UK including overnight stays.

The role:
The postholder will be responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of safe, creative and stimulating community play sessions and support groups at venues across Greater Manchester. You will ensure that a range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered to babies and children aged 0-5. You will also seek to continuously improve sessions by obtaining feedback, seeking alternative venues and work within budget. Maintaining records and promoting inclusion is also vital in the role.
About you:
You will hold a Level 3 in Childcare Learning and Development and have experience of working with babies/children with a range of needs and abilities. You will be able to build relationships with children and their parents or carers. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, team building skills and organisational skills. A good understanding of Child Protection procedures is needed and the confidence to communicate any concerns to the Safeguarding Lead.
What we offer:
This is a part time (15 hours per week), fixed term position until 1st June 2025 initially. The role is home based but significant amounts of time are spent working in the community and some weekend working is required, this is likely to be at least one Saturday per month.
You will receive a salary of £28,000 (pro rata to £11,200 for 15 hours per week) dependent on experience and benefits include 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata to working hours) and a Christmas closure.

This work generates a huge volume of multimedia digital assets which need to be easily searchable by everyone in the organisation. We've recently moved to a new digital asset management system which requires an ongoing process of training and development.
We are looking for a Digital Asset Manager to be responsible for embedding and maintaining our new digital asset management system (Asset Bank), offering training and support to teams using and uploading assets. You'll work closely with content producers and story collectors to develop workflows preparing and uploading new content and you'll lead their implementation. As digital asset manager you'll inspire staff with available content, finding creative ways to make the organisation aware of the assets the team is producing.
