The Major Gifts Stewardship Assistant is responsible for an existing portfolio of approximately 150+ individual, trust, and corporate donor relationships. Main responsibilities include:
· Maintaining the current portfolio of donors.
· Uplifting donors to give at higher levels, where possible.
· Supporting the trusts and foundations of new business processes through research and outreach.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri
Duration: Permanent
Location: London - hybrid (at least 2 days in office per week)
Salary: £28,011.50 per annum
Job Purpose:
To be an integral part of the Philanthropy team, providing stewardship to individuals, trusts and foundations, and corporate supporters (typically, yet not exclusively, at the £5,000 to £20,000 level). You will be responsible for a portfolio of major donors, ensuring their continued support of MSF.

We are recruiting a Fundraising Research and Administration Intern who will join the charity for six months and play an important role in providing valuable insight to teams across the charity, with a particular focus on supporting the Fundraising team. You will be responsible for research and analysis into potential donors, along with providing administrative support with donor communications, campaigns and database management. This role is an opportunity to gain fundraising experience in a growing organisation and develop a variety of transferable skills in a charity setting.
Job Description
- Lead on prospect research to build our pipeline of prospect funders across corporates, foundations and individuals
- Identify new organisations and philanthropists who could be supporters of Bookmark
- Support with delivering an effective impact reporting programme by creating termly update reports, case studies and mass mailings
- Work with the Schools team to organise donor visits at our partner schools
- Complete online enquiry forms for prospective Trusts and Foundations
- Work with the Impact Team to ensure that key impact statements and statistics are shared with the Fundraising team to support exceptional proposals
- Support the co-ordination and delivery of events
- Collate, input and maintain accurate information on databases, including our customer relationship management (CRM) system and SharePoint
- Ensure that all activity helps to build Bookmark’s brand and is always brand compliant

This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our organisation. This post is for a Technical Administrator who will play a central role within The Fostering Networks Practice, Learning and Development service taking a lead on the co-ordination, administrative duties and technical online developments. We are going through an exciting period of digital transformation and this post will be integral to our success. The post will have responsibility for the overall co-ordination and oversight of administration for the L&D function, support the facilitation of training courses delivered both virtually and in-person. We’re looking for a motivated Grants and Administration Officer. We are happy to consider someone who is newer to grant-making but with deep experience of the charitable sector. We will be looking for someone with aptitude for the duties below who will be able to work independently following training where needed. Alternatively, we would be open to a candidate with experience of grant management who can hit the ground running. The salary offered will be commensurate with experience.

Duties
Grants assessment and management:
• Process grant applications. This includes:
o Visiting, meeting and corresponding with applicants.
o Reviewing, requesting and analysing relevant information.
o Providing feedback on unsuccessful applications.
o Preparing written recommendations for submission to the Board and presenting at Board meetings.
• Monitor progress on grants awarded.
• Ensure the timely and accurate recording of activities and transactions with applicants and grantees through the Trust’s database, Salesforce CRM.
• Represent the Trust at public events such as seminars and receptions.
• Contribute to the Trust’s ‘grants-plus’ activity, which aims to support the work of applicant charities through sharing knowledge and experience of good practice and brokering pro-bono consultancy support.

• First point of contact for enquiries and invitations to the Trust by post, email and on the phone.

Specific duties vary by programme but generally include keeping data current, ensuring staff have relevant access rights and permissions, and backing up data on a regular basis. Training will be provided on all of these systems.
• Manage the Trust’s subscriptions and memberships (e.g. Association of Charitable Foundations, ICO).
• Maintain the Trust’s register of interests.
• Prepare Board papers and Minutes (printing, binding and posting papers).
• Update 360giving with the Trust’s grants data (training will be provided).
